Lovely, caring, and responsive host. Location was perfect and convenient. Love the nearby street market. The expresso machine was a highlight. The accommodation had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Location was fantastic! Cute area, that was very accessible to lots of restaurants, coffee shops. Accommodated our family of 2 adults and 3 teenagers very well. Host was extremely accommodating and helpful.
Lovely, cozy, charming apartment. Samira, the host, was very helpful with recommendations. Great area, close to shops, an amazing boulangerie and great restaurants. We had three adults and we loved this apartment and would stay again. That said, it should be noted that this apartment is up a couple flights of steep and curved stairs and not everyone could do the stairs, let alone bring their luggage up too.
Absolutely gorgeous apartment with an incredible location. Walkable to sooooo many restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, bus lines. Cannot say enough about how perfect this apartment is!
All was excellent. Samira was completely lovely, available, flexible. Apartment perfect and location superbI would happily stay here again the next time I am in Paris
We stayed for 4 nights. The apartment was very clean and had everything you needed. It's very close to the metro, many restaurants, and a wonderful market with fresh produce. The neighbors in the adjacent building were a little loud at night on theweekend.
The apartment truly was magnificent! The location was terrific - lovely restaurants, cafes and patisseries nearby, residential neighborhood and easy access to Paris by Metro or walking. The apartment itself was lovely - the kids LOVED the loft bed and the balcony was great for a nap. I have nothing but praise for how communicative and kind Souliah was. Great place for a family with two kids!
My family and I stayed at this apartment for our Christmas holiday. The location is perfect, and our host was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this VRBO to anyone who would like to get the real feel of a Parisian apartment. It’s within walking distance to rue Mouffetard.
This apartment is in a wonderful part of Paris, steps away from the fabulous Rue Mouffetard market street, full of both shops and restaurants of every kind, and within easy walking distance of many of Paris' beloved left bank attractions such as Notre Dame cathedral, the Pantheon and the Jardin de Luxumbourg. We had a few challenges that were largely our fault as non-Europeans, such as the door code and coffee maker, but quickly resolved those with Samira our host, who could not have been more attentive and helpful. We were there in winter, and so could not take advantage of the balcony, which would be lovely in other seasons. If you stay there, do try the nearby restaurant Le Petit Bal Perdu. All in all, a cozy and comfortable stay in a fabulous location.
Initial entrance to building not very attractive.the apartment was warm and inviting, but the loft bed was a bit difficult to maneuver. You to be VERY careful not to bump head. Well equipped with everything you needed for a stay.Balcony was small but pleasant for two people to sit and have a coffee or afternoon wine, etcVery convenient to bus, metro, and and any shopping needed!!
We loved this apartment! The accommodations were ideal for our family of 5 (two parents, three children ages 13, 11, and 8). Samira was very friendly, kind, and communicative, and the apartment was just as described in the listing. The location was great - right around the corner from so many food options and action on Rue Mouffetard. It was an easy walk into the city center; the Censier-Daubenton Metro stop is less than five minutes' walk from the apartment as well. We would not hesitate to stay again on a return visit to Paris.
On top of its very nice inner features, the apartment is perfectly located in the heart of the mythic ''fifth'' district of Paris at walking distance of Rue Mouffetard, Jardin des plantes and related Museums, Pantheon, Quartier Latin, Notre Dame and Paris Mosque, and many other iconic spots...plenty of nice restaurants around as well as Street food shops (Bibani Pizza around the corner is just incredible). Last but not least, our host Samira has been extremely kind and available for supporting us during our stay. We were 6 persons (2 adults, 3 teenagers and 1 kid) and the accommodation was perfectly fitting to our needs. We can only warmly recommend !
Here’s a review with clarifications for future visitors to help with planning. For reference, we are a family of 5 (3 children aged 8, 12, and 14) on a 1 month trip through France. We stayed at this apartment for 3 days during a hot spell in May Communication with the host was excellent. She was very friendly, engaging, and gave us some great restaurant tips. While nothing is factually inaccurate in the listing, I thought we could shed some light for those considering a stay. First off, as others have mentioned, this is the host's residence so the rental is like a very old school “Tech BnB” - like when you were paying to surf someone's couch. You are living with their personal, every-day things. If you left to go to work one day and someone moved in right behind you, that's essentially the feeling of the flat and the level of tidiness. Don't expect any storage space (we had a fair amount of luggage given the length of our trip). This becomes an issue only because the apartment is small and somewhat cluttered. Honestly, the apartment would work well for two persons if you're planning to use it for anything besides a home base. I have no idea how the other family of 5 made it work. The loft is, well, a loft. Ok for kids, but unless you like being on your hands and knees, no real space for adults. In general, re-read the description and understand what this place is: good spot, very nice host, cool/quirky space. What it isn't: a professional vacation rental.
I fully expected to enjoy my visit to Paris. All of my friends who visited had good things to say about it. But I am sure that my visit was greatly benefited by my stay in these fine premises. In the first place they are exceptionally well located, a little more than one block from Marche Mouffetard. There you can get anything you might wish to eat. There is a fish-monger, a butcher shop, a liquor store, a wine shop, plenty of green grocers, a really excellent bakery and many places to eat. It could not be more convenient. It is 4 blocks away from a metro stop. Many apartments in Paris tend to be tiny. We found this one to be perfectly adequate. We were not constantly running into each other. My wife liked to sit out on the balcony in the quiet of the morning. Although it is so close to everything, it was not noisy. Although the kitchen is small, it has everything you are likely to need. The hostess was exceptionally kind and gracious. When our flight arrived earlier than anticipated, she was kind enough to let us enter early. When we had trouble with the coffee maker, she sent her niece who not only fixed it but left us some coffee to use. It is hard to imagine a kinder or more accommodating hostess. If the future is kind enough to allow me to visit Paris again, this is where I will stay.
The location was great, very close to shops and cafes. The kitchen was small and the bathroom situation a little different than what we are used to in the States. The sink was in the bathroom with the shower and no toilet. The bathroom with a toilet had only that a toilet and no sink. But that was a very small inconvenience. Very nice apartment and would stay again. Balcony was very nice addition and cute with little lights at night.
Our host was very accommodating and the apartment is charming and conveniently located. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

A lovely little apartment in a well situated, fabulous neighborhood. À very welcoming and attentive host. Highly recommend and will look forward to visiting again!
Truly the most perfect stay for a girls trip! Let me start out with our host was the most lovely human ever!! Greeted us upon arrival allowing us to place our bags before starting our first adventure! Offering us information about the area and more. Her cozy apartment was wonderful and perfect for the 3 of us. Her home was clean and cozy just what you want for a 5 night stay. PERFECT. Thank you Samira
This rare find of a flat is literally steps away from the iconic Rue Mouffetard, the alley-like center of Parisian market lore. Every other shop is a restaurant, bakery, patissierie, or counter-service crepe shop. The flat, despite closeness to a bustling shopping area, is quiet, with a small and beautifully flowered balcony looking out on roofs within a courtyard which is accented in massive climbing rose vines. We had many mornings spent on the balcony in the quiet over coffee from the impressive espresso machine in the kitchen. The flat is quaint and cozy, loaded with french books covering the walls, and classic french wall art. Samira was extremely responsive and wonderful to work with. Highly recommend.
