REDONE APARTMENT & PRIVATE PENTHOUSE IN LE MARAIS NEAR CENTRE POMPIDOU

This beautiful duplex of 2150 sq ft has been renovated in February 2024, with all modern conveniences. Set in a modern building next to the Pompidou center, on the fourth floor with a lift, facing south, this property is located in the heart of the Marais, the most vibrant arrondissement of Paris, in walking distance from many attractions like the Louvre, Picasso museum, Place des Victoires, Saint-Eustache's church and even Notre Dame. The neighbourhood is surrounded by many nice restaurants, organic stores, bakeries, supermarkets and liquor stores. All windows are double glazed and sound proof (although there is not much noise on this pedestrian area to begin with!)

The apartment's layout and its size will provide you with ample space to relax and to enjoy your own privacy. The living room set upstairs overlooks the gorgeous rooftop of 1615 sq ft with his flowers, tomatoes plants and even a palm tree. It also has a grill, long chair and a outdoor table for 6 people. Ideally suited for two couples or a family with children, the two bedrooms sleep 4 guests comfortably and a sofa bed will provide 2 additional persons. The 2 bedrooms are master bedrooms and have king size beds. There's toilet in each bathroom and an additional one upstairs.
The sitting room is very large and has a modern dining table. The kitchen has been designed and equipped to enable you to cook a wonderful meal. It has a lovely, large black Carrara marble work area and faces the dining area.

The apartment has a state of air conditioning system and there is also a central heating in each room, including the bathrooms; free high speed wifi ; 3 flats screens TV, Netflix, DVD player, guide books, washer dryer, microwave, induction hob, Gaggenau oven and stove, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster and dishwasher.

The closest Metro station is Rambuteau, 1 minute away and Velibs (bicycles that can be rented daily or weekly and are a great way to explore Paris) are close by. The airports and the main train stations can easily be reached by public transport or by taxi and you will receive a mail containing all information and direction you need once the apartment is booked.

So nice, we stayed here twice!

Our first stay in this apartment was in November 2019 and we loved it so much that when we made a return trip to Paris five years later, we were thrilled to see it was available again! Marcello was an excellent communicator and very gracious host who made sure that our stay went smoothly. The apartment is extremely well situated--many Metro lines are easily accessible, and it is within easy walking distance of the Marais and Notre Dame. The apartment has everything you need and was a comfortable stay for this family of four with two teens. The rooftop garden is an amazing bonus--having our morning coffee and baguette amongst the tranquil greenery makes you feel like you've been transported out of the city! This is a wonderful apartment and I highly recommend it for your trip to Paris!

Great central apartment

Marcello very responsive. Met us on arrival and booked our airport pickup and departure taxi van for 5. Well equipped for eat in and many restaurants adjacent to property. 10 minute walk to Notre Dame Cathedral. Metro stop yellow line right beside. Best Paris stay. Note the bigger bedroom only separate by a screen curtain. Good big bathrooms. Lovely rooftop patio.

Perfect location in an amazing apartment!

We are a family of 5 traveling with our 3 teenagers so the apt was perfect for us and everyone had space to spread out. One of our children uses a wheelchair and the apartment was also ideal for that as plenty of open space for him to move around. Access to the elevator was very easy and fit his chair no problem! Just as all the reviews say, Marcello is so easy to work with and helped coordinate transportation from the train station as well as for the airport.The bakery around the corner is delicious and we enjoyed warm baguettes and croissants each morning.Hope to visit Paris again soon and when we do we will definitely stay here again!

Great location, large 2 bedroom apartment, fully equipped kitchen with all the modern luxuries, jetted tubs in both bathrooms and the best terrace in Paris ever! Best Location, Best Host

Ample space in a great location with many restaurants, groceries and shopping with easy access to the Metro. Rooftop garden was wonderful after a busy day. One thing to be mindful of though was the total lack of privacy/ soundproofing in the master bedroom. The screen is completely see through to the kitchen so if you don’t all get up at the same time that’s a problem. If you’re all family then this may not be an issue for you. Marcello is a fantastic host. He responds quickly and is very helpful arranging transportation to from the airport or train station.

Fantastic

We had fantastic stay in Paris and Marcello was an amazing host. He was very patient with our delayed arrival and very welcoming once we arrived. He spent time walking us through the aprtment and made sure we had everything we needed upon checkin and throughout our stay. Upstairs and outside patio are very spacious and we can only imagine how nice the outside patio must be during better weather (we had a bit of rain so didnt get to enjoy it to its full potential!). Location is perfect. Le Marais is an amazing neighborhood. We were able to walk to many of the must-see attractions and for the others the 1 min walk to the metro was always appreciated. Wonderful stay and can't speak highly enough of Marcello. Enjoy!

La Marais Beauty

A truly great apartment in the heart of La Marais around the corner from the Pompidou Museum. The apartment even has a beautiful rooftop garden terrace to take a coffee or share a bottle of wine. The apartment is also a stones throw from the closed roof food market known as Le Marche du Enfants Rouge and the Enfantes du Marche restaurant that everyone needs to eat at if you are staying in Paris. The host Marcello is quite literally one of the best hosts we have come across in nearly 10 years of our travels and use of apartment rentals. He secured car transport to and from the airport including meeting us at 6:30 in the am to get us out to the next stop of our holiday and even went out of way to personally go over to Bistro Paul Bert to try and secure us a reservation (regrettably the restaurant was closed for summer vacation when we were there. A 5 star stay. Thank you Marcello!

The property is spacious and modern, with the most comfortable beds. The Centre Pompidou, is across the road, Cafes and restaurants everywhere, Within walkiing distance: Musée Picasso. ... La Maison Européenne de la Photographie. ... Place des Vosges. ... Maison Victor Hugo. ... The Pompidou Center. ... Musée Carnavalet – Museum of the History of Paris. ... Musée Cognacq-Jay. ... Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature. Notre dame We did not need to catch the metro or a taxi the whole time we were able to comfortably stroll. Marcello was great. Answered all queries same day and was a font of valuable information.

Good Location Apartment Needing Investment

Marcello was a gracious host arranging for airport transfers to and from his property and meeting us upon check-in and check-out. A modern apartment, the unit is in a good location and has the amenities you would expect. Unfortunately the drain in the master shower was clogged flooding the bathroom floor, rendering it unavailable during our stay and forcing our party of 4 to use 1 shower. Pillows for the beds were lacking, with only two provided on each of the beds for the four in our party. While a few extra pillows were found in a closet but they had no pillow cases. The shower towels have definitely seen better days as they were bleach stained and crusty, presumably because of being air dried.

Perfect Apartment - Perfect Location

Marcello was a great host! There was great communication, he met us on arrival, having arranged transport from the airport, and checked in periodically to make sure everything was great, and we wanted for nothing. The outside terrace was unique and unusual for apartments in Paris and since the weather was so nice, it was our go-to place. We even hosted a cocktail party for family and friends! Coffee and croissant in the morning was perfect. He met us on departure and again, arranged a ride from the apartment to the airport. The apartment could not have been in a better area! Not only was it in the center of things, it was cemetery quiet as it was located on a pedestrian only area, so no outside noise. Being right in the Marais was perfect as we walked, literally everywhere, clocking 6 miles per day, but tons to do around the area. I would definitely go back again for these longer stays. Thank you for sharing your wonderful apartment with us. The apartment was completely furnished and had all we needed for our 10 day stay, with maps and recommendations for things to do, Metro maps, activities and restaurants. Wifi was included and worked perfectly on our phones, though I could not get it on my laptop for some bizarre reason. TVs included access to all the major streaming services as well as BBC and all the normal broadcast stations. Kitchen was fully equipped, and was utilized throughout. It was a great way to celebrate my birthday! Loved it!!

Paris fun!

Marcello was a very welcoming and helpful host and accessible and responsive throughout the whole rental process from beginning to end. He arranged for our transportation to and from the airport which was greatly appreciated as the labor strikes definitely impacted train accessibility during our stay. He has a book filled with helpful tips and recommendations that made it easy to feel at home right away. The apartment is in a fabulous location - many small markets and shops nearby to explore and we loved getting to know the neighborhood. Metro access is very easy and it's a quick 10 minute walk to the river. The apartment was clean and roomy for our family of 4 and we were pleasantly surprised to have cleaning services during our stay (that was unexpected). The apartment could use a few touch ups to create a little more warmth (towels were thin and threadbare, chips in the servewear) and the previous reviews about privacy ring true - the only thing that separates the master from the kitchen/dining area is a thin, shear shade/panel but that didn't bother us. We saw a few people coming and going to/from the building during our stay and they were all very friendly and happy. It was a quiet building and felt very private. Overall it was very comfortable and we were happy to call it our home base while we explored this beautiful city. Marcello was a great host and made the whole process very easy.

Family Paris Adventure!

Our family of four had an amazing four days in Paris at this property. It's steps from the Pompidou Centre and everything you need is at your fingertips as you walk out the front door of the apartment: great restaurants, cafes, shopping, grocery, fruit, the metro, etc. It is a 10-15 minute walk to Ile de la Cite, where you will find both Notre Dame and Sainte Chapelle cathedrals. The property has 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, has a great kitchen and has air conditioning. The highlight of the property is the private rooftop deck/garden. It was amazing!Marcello is a wonderful host and met us at check-in and at checkout! Thank you!! We hope to return.

Just stayed at Marcello’s place for 5 nights and it was wonderful. It was spacious and had everything we needed. I was impressed by Marcello’s attention to details - there were guide books to read, recommendations, a binder with directions, umbrellas, laundry soap, and even adapters for our phones! My husband and I stayed with our two adult children, and it was so nice to have 2 bedrooms and bathrooms so that we all had our own space. Thanks to Marcello’s for being a great host!

We had a wonderful stay at this flat in Paris! The location was unbeatable—in a quiet, charming neighborhood filled with great restaurants and shops, yet just steps from the metro and walkable to Notre Dame and other key sights.Two absolute highlights: the air conditioning, which was a lifesaver during a hot week in Paris, and the elevator—so many places we looked at were stairs-only, so having a lift made a huge difference. Save your energy for exploring the city, not climbing up to your room!The roof terrace was magical, the perfect spot to relax after a long day. And the host was incredible—friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond. Wonderful Stay/Beautiful Apartment

Our time in Paris was fantastic, made all the better by our beautiful VRBO apartment, the location and Marcello, our generous host. We, as a multi-generational family of five, needed an apartment with space for grandparents, adult children and a grandchild. Marcello’s apartment was perfect. It was lovely, clean, comfortable and a home away from home when we returned from sightseeing. To cap all of that, there was a private terrace off of the upper level which was landscaped with flowers, small trees and shrubs. It was breathtaking.The apartment was located near the Marais, around the corner from the Pompidou Center. There were small shops and charming cafes and restaurants close at hand. Transportation on buses and the metro was easy to use. We made our way to iconic landmarks but spent as much time exploring “our neighborhood”.Finally, we can not thank Marcello enough for his kind attention. He greeted us upon arrival. He showed us around the apartment, answered questions about appliances, temperature controls and so on, provided an array of Paris guides, offered a folder of information about the area with restaurant recommendations and was available for questions during our stay. He arranged transportation to and from the airport and came to see us off as we left to fly home. He was a kind gentleman and a superb host.

Beautiful Apartment in Great Location

Marcello’s apartment is absolutely beautiful! It’s location allows for easy access to most of Paris’ main attractions. Marcello was kind, welcoming, and helpful. We highly recommend his place!
