Located in the heart of the Ile-Saint-Louis, the front entrance to this early 17th-century building leads into a small and quiet courtyard. You can choose between taking the elegant wood staircase or the elevator to access this third floor apartment. Upon entering, your first impression will be one of light and warmth. The luminosity is due to the very high ceilings and tall windows. The pale yellow color of the walls in the main living areas makes it cheerful and warm all year round.

Perfect location

Wonderful old building in the heart of Paris. Quirky placement of TV and dishes. Could use new towels and kitchen items. Very clean and quiet at night. I would recommend this location.

Great Location

Our stay was fabulous! Great location in a great community. Easy access to numerous metro lines and due to central location, not a lot of transfers were needed between lines. We would definitely choose this place again!

Great place, very roomy for a Paris apartment, high ceilings make it feel larger. Perfect location, easy walking distance to several great and friendly restaurants. The apartment was clean, well equipped and very functional (good water pressure, hot water, etc). Check-in and out was a breeze which was a bonus after a long flight.

Paris Islands

After many visits to Paris, my wonderful wife and I feel this is the best location you could choose. This property and the genial owner are perfect in every way, especially for a couple, though there is room for two more. The number of opportunities for food, wine, and sightseeing within a short walk is immeasurable. Don’t hesitate to contact the owner for this very special place.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment in an excellent location close to everything in Paris. Bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen had everything you needed. Is my was a perfect 2 days.

Fabulous location

This is our favorite VRBO of all time. We have rented dozens of them but this one fantastic. The location is amazing. The street below is awesome. The restaurants, the wine shop, the bakery and the grocery were all within steps of the apartment. The apartment itself was comfortable and easy to live in. We would stay here again and again if we could!

Lovely spot in the center of it all

A perfect pied-a-terre in Paris. Well maintained and great for the two of us. We walked to the Marais, Latin Quarter and museums. Had coffee every morning at the St. Regis looking out over the Seine. Excellent Metro access. We absolutely loved it!

Wonderful apartment on L'ile Saint Louis, Paris

Wonderful small apartment in our favorite place in Paris, L'ile Saint Louis. Major pluses: elevator, excellent air conditioner (hot weather!), totally quiet, comfortable queen or larger bed, great shower. Small working kitchen, but fine for a stay in Paris. Could not have been better!

Quick trip to Paris

My best friend and I spent 3 nights. The apartment is charming! The neighborhood is lovely and it was easy for us to get to all our tours. We also loved the shops and cafes nearby. In the evenings, we enjoyed visiting in the living room. It felt like stepping back in time. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and cozy apartment in St. Louis

This apartment met all of our expectations with location, comfort, and ambience. The owners were easy to communicate with, and were able to accommodate our last minute request for an additional night stay. The kitchen is tiny, but who cooks in Paris? So many restaurants and patisseries just down the street. this will be on the top of our search list for our next visit to Paris.

Family Introduction to Paris

We chose this VRBO listing due to the location. It was a perfect place for the first trip to Paris for our children. The unit is a bit small but that is not unusual for places in Paris and it worked well for our family of 4. The check in process was easy and the hosts were responsive to our questions. We loved walking down the street to cafe's and bakeries and of course the Gelato shop right across the street. It was great to be walking distance from the Seine and the metro. We would love to stay here again when we are back in Paris.

Lovely apartment!

Two separate taxi drivers commented on how lucky we were to be staying on the island. They were correct. The neighborhood is like a small, tranquil village in the middle of Paris. The apartment is lovely. Perfect for a couple. Having an elevator is a big plus. We would definitely stay here again should we return to Paris.

Great location aged since the pictures were taken

We loved the location! We didn’t realize until we were leaving they had table service (cups,dishes, etc) in the armoire in the living area. Not quite the home away from home vibe we got from all of our other stays. Clean! Sorza was a great restaurant as was Aux Anysetiers Du Roy- make reservations. We almost missed out. We went to Le Peloton across the bridge for an amazing cafe noisette.

Spring weekend in Paris

This apt is very central, easy to get to many places you might want to see in Paris. It's a quick stroll from the Seine, multiple types of restaurants and there's a grocery store and bakeries within a block. The apt has a tall window facing a charming street that gets plenty of sunshine. It was a warm Spring day when we arrived, the window was open and it was a lovely way to begin our time in France. A comfortable space for a couple. Excellent communication from the host.

Excellent location, apartment & management!

This was my eighth time in Paris and first staying on the Ile Saint Louis. This location is by far the best for touring the Left and Right Banks. It was also wonderful to walk daily along the Seine. The richness of cultural activities is priceless but catching a sunset from one of the Seine's bridges can't be beat!The apartment is very comfortable! Everything worked and I found it's design and arrangement of lighting, storage, kitchen and bathroom thoughtful & effective. It was surprisingly quiet. Also, good ventilation by opening windows and AC if needed. One other unique feature of the apartment is the original modern artwork decorating the walls--many unusual and thought provoking pieces!Lastly, in addition to the excellent location and comfort, the management by Daniel was first class. Communication through Vrbo messaging was easy. Daniel provided clear arrival details and all my questions were answered in a timely and useful fashion.I highly recommend this apartment! My wife and I hope to return!Thank you to Daniel for your hospitality!!

Best location in Paris

We loved spending our time in Paris on St Louis, which is like a small village within the city, as easy to get to the 5th (Monge, Mouffetard, Sorbonne, etc.) as to the 3rd and 4th (the Marais). There are so many great cafes and restaurants on the island, lovely fresh produce stores and of course St Louis is home to Berthillon. The apartment is comfortable and well appointed, with high ceilings, original features and a fabulous ever-changing view of rue St Louis en Ile from the gorgeous main window. Daniel was courteous, clear and prompt in replying to messages. If you have mobility issues, be aware that there are seven steps from the lift landing up to the apartment door.

Excellent location, cozy apt

The location is excellent, on the (what we called) the little island, right next to the "big island" where ND is. The apt is right in the center of things, yet quiet at night for a good night's rest. There are shops all along the streets; boulangeries, grocery stores, little gifts/novelties shops, coffee, smoothie, and gelato shops - we loved the gelato right across, it was convenient enough to send our 12-year-old to get some treats (while we watched him from the apt window above). Everywhere you went, you would cross a bridge - just beautiful! The hosts were very responsive, we were welcomed in person and got the lay of the land when we arrived. Everything was neat and clean. The apt would be smallish for 4 adults, but would be fine for a family with two young kids. Perfect for a couple.

Cute Parisienne Apt in Notre Dame

This is a gorgeous little apartment in a fabulous location in a beautiful old building. I walked everywhere! In fact I didn't catch the metro once. Cafes at your door and spoilt for choice with gelato. There's a lift which is such a bonus if you have a suitcase. Check-in wasn't as smooth as I'd like and it was a little annoying have to buy toilet paper as there were no spares. Also the downlights in the lounge room flickered so really couldn't be used which made it difficult to read in that room in the evening. Hopefully these are things that will be fixed for future guests? Would I stay again. Yes. :)
