AVOID THIS ONE
Reception staff not very helpful except Jessy. Would not give us any milk for tea and rather patronising attitude of the young lady. The rooms are small and tiny toilet. Loud sound of underground trains all day and night. Beds of poor quality. Miles away from the city centre and Main railway station.

The staff is not caring. When we arrive at 18:30, they send us to the room and it was not ready. The second day,when we return the room was not ready also, and when asking they told us they only make room once every 4 days. And this was not mentioned when we reserve.

Despite this being out of the city center and there is nothing near the hotel. There were great transport links to the city center with the train station being a 30-second walk from the hotel. The staff was friendly and there were no complaints about the cleanliness. My only suggestion would be more variety for the hot food during breakfast as there was only bacon, sausages and scrambled egg. I would definitely stay again!

I stay here every week and always have to ask for my club membership privileges, not to mention the request on my booking for certain rooms which are never met automaticaly but always get the room on the check-in desk but have ask if they forgot to read?! clearly dont read bookings nor look at the profile of the customer and just see "numbers" rolling in. Apart from checkin process and check in at the desk when i arrive, the staff are brilliant especially the restaurant and breakfast staff, rooms are great, and location perfect for office

The perfect hotel, but with one fatal flaw
The hotel is amazing in every aspect. Pros: - Amazing service - Good condition of the rooms (newly refurbished) - Nespresso Coffee in the room - nice touch - Good breakfast - Good Wifi Will I ever stay here again? - Definitely not. Why? There is a Paris Metro train station underneath the hotel and the Paris Metro trains run from just after 04:00 to after midnight meaning that if you are susceptible to noise, that you will not sleep very well at all. The hotel offers earplugs as standard in the room, but sleeping with them is uncomfortable and may mean that you may not hear your alarm clock. To me the issue with the train noise is a massive shame as the hotel is great in every other aspect.

Apart from the sound of trains from the RER station below the hotel,our stay was very pleasant,bed was comfy,room was clean and the right temperature. Breakfast was excellent,the choice was very good with something to satisfy all pallettes

Very close to Nanterre Prefecture RER station, 1km from La defense, breezy check in & check out. Friendly & courteous reception. Strongly recommended even though on outskirts of Paris

Not as expected. Staff were fine but facilities very poor for the money. Bathroom in particular was not clean with mould on the tiles and panel broken. Metro train noise was audible on 7th floor. Breakfast buffet was only adequate and bar and evening dinner facilities poor although the quickly prepared meal was acceptable. Facilities did not do justice to the staff who were very professional in clearly difficult circumstances with work in progress.

Staff was nice and very attentive . My room had a few issues. Door lock was difficult to work a few times . It looked like it had been slammed and affected the door frame . It was patched but never painted. The safe did not work . The bathroom has the high tub with the curved bottom so when you shower it doesn’t feel safe. Difficult getting in and out as well. The thermostat was coming apart as wAs one light switch. No outlets near the bed . No USB ports at all. Had the desk person call taxi to leave, and 2 different ones showed up. Big argument inside and outside the hotel. The hotel manager should have stepped in and got me out of the middle. Reflected poorly on him

The hotel is very good. Not on Paris downtown but just in front of a RER station. Very clean. Internet speedy is works fine. The breakfast has a lot of options. Reception people is very welcome and polite.

Tired is not enough, Exhaused more like!
We're a family of 2 adult and on teenage child. We're seasoned travellers, and I've used the Accor brand many times in the past, but this is without doubt the worst Accor hotel I've ever stayed at. It is rated as 4*, however it would struggle to get 2* rating. I read the other reviews, and can only assume they did not stay in the annex where we did on the third floor. Room is relatively large, but still crowded and unorganised. Many signs of damage exist as the photos show. The bathroom is a horrible mess with broken tiles, huge dirty areas that simply could not be cleaned. It does not even have a thermostatically controlled shower which I would expect in any 4* hotel. The toilet is separate, but is impossible to easily gain access as the electric box is sited so the door will not open fully! The engineer who designed that deserves to stay here for a while... In addition the requirement to get fully dressed for outdoors when going to get breakfast is astonishing! The Annex has NO facilities of any description. We're only here for 3 days, and do not wish to waste our limited time in Paris moving or arguing about the hotel, but will be taking this up with the management upon our return to the UK.

Nice hotel with separate room from the kids although by sliding doors. Not far from Paris although keep in mind the metro tickets are a little more expensive from here than if you would be one station closer to downtown. Also, there is a market right downstairs and a few good restaurants so great stay overall.

Separate Part and not the Actual Hotel
Feeling of being very old. Paid way too much $198.00 for twin beds with one extra, plus a portable kitchenette, which we never used, because it looked up inviting !!!!! This "Pavilion" was separate from the hotel, very old, but quiet. Bathroom needed updating, but housekeeping was good. Would not stay there again !

The hotel is so conveniently located near the RER which was one reason fro choosing it. The mattress was very comfortable and allowed for an excellent sleep. The neighbourhood is very quiet and the staff very nice and helpful. In one word we enjoyed our stay.

Went to Paris for a girls weekend first was taken to the wrong hotel the Mercure la defense 5 glad we didn't stay at that hotel, front office were very rude and helpful. Once we got to the right mercure hotel in nanterre the hotel staff were very friendly and efficient. The location is excellent as the metro station is right next door. Overall would stay again.
