About this property

  • This fully equipped studio is in the one of most desirable areas to live in paris . The oberkampf area. Public transportation is dense with 5 metro lines at walking distance. Around the corner you will find the popincourt market which is a very active open air market open every tuesday and friday mornings. 3 excellent bakers in the same block ( even for parisian standards it is outstanding ) and an amazing collection of restaurants and cafes nearby. a great butcher and for the convenience of all a large supermaket.
    The studio consists of a main room with a fully equipped kitchen ( including a dishwasher and a combo oven) , a table for 2, a very comfortable quality hotel queen size bed ( 160*200 cm ) and a very large closet . the bathroom has a basin, a large shower, a toilet, a washer and a separate drier .
    The studio lies on the back of a late XIX century buiding at the second floor ( third american ) with elevator and therefore is away from street noise. you can sleep with windows open .

    The apartment comes free WI-Fi and free cable TV and you wont need to pack a multi outlet power bar since there are about 20 outlets at your disposal.

    The all-inclusive rental fee covers quality linens and towels.

    The location is very convenient to tour Paris. It is a walking distance (less than five minutes) to Le Marais, Bastille square and Republique square. You can then access metro hubs easily ( Republique and Bastille ) and go just eveywhere in paris directly without changing lines. And you are only 15 minutes walking to the very center of Paris, chatelet.

    Please be aware of the contractual 40 euro for any check in before 1200pm and after 900pm. If the apartment is not rented the night before the 40 euro applies in all cases. If the apartment is rented the night before we do not charge the early check in, we can check you in starting 1000am, keep your luggage but ask you to leave the apartment until the cleaning is finished i.e., around 1200pm.

Nice area

There are many great restaurants and cafe's in the area, and most are walkable. Ubers to Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, etc. are reasonably priced.

Perfect location.

The location was perfect! Close enough to easily get to the tourists destinations but away from the center of the bustle of the tourist district. Convenient to everything you need (shopping, bakery, grocery, restaurants, etc) and the rail. The rail system is inexpensive and easy to navigate. Host was very responsive and helpful!

Lovely studio apartment in great neighborhood

My husband and I had a fantastic stay in this charming flat in the 11th Arrondissement. Great walks across the city from this well located spot - not in the thick of things but easy access to everything by foot, metro, Uber, etc. Charming, classic building; great open-air market a few blocks away (twice weekly); good restaurants, bars and shops nearby. We loved it and will stay here again!

This was the perfect little studio to stay while in Paris. Close to the trains to get into the heart of the city. It was a nice quiet place to come back to after a long day! The Centre of All that is Paris

The small studio is at the centre of the lively Oberkampf area of the 11th Arrondissement. It is a quiet and peaceful space as it overlooks the inner courtyard. It is an ideal location for exploring all areas of Paris via walking, transit, or vehicle. The neighborhood restaurants and wine bars are a must. The space is clean and tidy, light and airy, and has all the amenities needed (the rain shower is a treat and the queen bed is comfortable). The host, Olivier, is gracious and helpful. Highly recommend staying here.

Lovely modernised studio apartment with AC in a quiet area within the 11th arrondissement. Close to numerous bistros & amenities. Easy access to metro lines 3,5, & 9. Great shower with washing machine & dryer. Elevator access to the 2nd floor apartment. Only negative, it would have been great to have some tea bags & milk in the fridge after a direct 23 hour flight from Australia !

Very good apartment for exploring Paris.

A very good cost-effective location for exploring Paris with lots of local food and restaurant options, with a well equipped grocery store, with reasonably priced items, on the same block as the apartment., and our host, Olivier, was very helpful. Also, the washer and dryer made it possible for us to pack lighter for the trip. Traffic is a little complicated, especially in regard to taxi pickups because of current road work, but that should be resolved soon. We just had a taxi pick us up a very short walk away at Chez Gaston. And BTW, the G7 on call taxi service works very well--quite similar to Uber, but the taxi rates are regulated and they can use the bus/taxi lanes.

Very clean, great neighborhood, close to 4 metro lines for easy movement around the city (line 9 had all major tourist stops) and access to Disneyland Paris with 1 transfer.
