Perfect for a business trip by train
Perfekt location if you have to take an early train. Great restaurant and just lovely rooms- clean and everything you could possibly need is in there including delicious cookies and coffee! Loved it

Staff was great - helpful and friendly! I feel bad for interrupting one of the staff’s lunch when she showed us to our room, but she insisted and didn’t rush. We had a very good size room for our family of five, and it was cleaned everyday. Breakfast and lunch was great too (didn’t eat dinner there).

Overall it's a decent 3 star hotel. Location is supposed to be excellent, but we were staying in Paris during the strike, and if I could make changes, I may choose hotel that's very close to city center. Having said that, the hotel staff have been very helpful, especially Guillaume.

Hidden away from the street noise but not far from restaurants and a stones throw away to mass transit. We highly recommend this place. We will definitely return.

THIS REVIEW IS COMING FROM AN AMERICAN WHO SOLELY USED THIS WEBSITE AND THE REVIEWS OF OTHERS TO BOOK HOTELS FOR A FAMILY TRIP TO EUROPE: This hotel is very friendly, clean, modern, and convenient. The Wi-Fi is strong. The beds are extremely comfortable. The shower is the best shower I have ever been in. The Nespresso machine was very good. And best of all, the air conditioning was superb! We dropped off our luggage early (before our room was ready) and they delivered it to our room for us. There is a small pocket of a nice area surrounded by a not so nice area. The hotel is in this nice pocket, but in order to get to the hotel from public transportation, you must walk through the not so nice surrounding area.That was the only problem I encountered with this hotel.

Friendly staff, they provide you with bottled water, the rooms were spacious and clean, great products offered as well. I asked for an iron and they were able to supply me with one.

We booked the executive suite and it was spacious for the 4 adults in our family. I really liked the decor and feel of the hotel. Room was spacious, clean and had nice :L'Occitane amenities. There is no elevator though so be prepared for the stairs but the staff brought our luggages up. Staff were very friendly and helpful...they really stood out. Breakfast and dinner were both good. Breakfast was better than average with cooked eggs and a selection of breads and cold cuts as well as yogurt. The only thing that I noted was that our bed was beneath a skylight which had no curtain or cover. It got bright in the room early. This may bother some but I was ok with it.

We loved how unique this hotel was! The reception area, little restaurant, living wall & fantastic service were the best! Our room was stylish, quiet and came with fresh macarons on the bed. We'd would definitely stay here again!

This is a lovely boutique type hotel near Canal St. Martin. The staff of the hotel and restaurant treat you like family and are happy to make your Paris stay special...highly recommend a stay at this property.

We got upgraded for our one night stay to the executive suite which was huge!! A very nice set up, with a wonderful sky light, huge bedroom and a huge living room (including a small kitchen). The front desk staff were super friendly. I found the bed to be less comfortable than I hoped but it was far from the worst hotel bed I’ve slept in. For those traveling with kids, FYI there is a cute playground about a half a block to the right out the main door and the locks on the canal we’re very entertaining for our little one. Some of the finishes in the bathroom were a bit worn but that was the only negative I can mention.

A unique and somewhat “quirky” property in a residential neighborhood. Loved the fact that it was in a “real” French neighborhood. You could watch families walking dogs, pushing strollers, bringing home baguettes for dinner, etc. Lots of kids too. A little far from the tourist sites, but a subway stop is not far.

The amount of space and the amenities in our room were outstanding and more than expected. In reality, the room was like a small apartment - bedroom, living room, small kitchen and a bathroom. We were very comfortable during our stay, and the front desk personnel were excellent - very welcoming and helpful. We’d stay there again!

Great location, close to shops and restaurants and jogging along the canal. Friendly, helpful staff, great restaurant and the breakfast is good too. The room was clean, a bit on the dark side, but that is to be expected due to the age of the building I think. I’d recommend it!

We loved our short stay at Le Robinet d’or! The room was clean and well appointed, the staff was very friendly, the restaurant was great, and you can’t beat the location. Every morning the staff greeted us with a smile, and we started our day with delicious breakfast. The hotel is a quick walk to Gare de l’Est, so we were able to get around Paris quickly/easily. Thanks for a great experience - we will definitely be back!

Delightful Boutique Hotel
My son and I had a fabulous holiday in the City of Lights recently and it was made all the better by the delightful stay we had at this hotel. The service was warm, attentive and faultless, and a special mention goes to Guillaume who was on duty two days while we were there and his colleagues Kareem and Joanna. The restaurant staff - 2 gentleman one from Bangladesh were attentive and service oriented and the food was delicious. This hotel has gotten it right, an industrial looking lobby, charming little rooms with ensuite baths, air conditioning that works (it can get stuffy in summer) and little touches upon check in such as macaroons on the bed. The staff helped us with directions and maps and spoke fluent English as well. The surrounding area of Canal Saint Martin is charming in itself with quirky shops and one of the best boulangeries in Paris - Du Pain et des Idees and in the evenings the banks of the Canal were filled with people enjoying time with their friends over a bottle or two of vin and fromage. All in all it was a great neighbourhood to be in and with 2 stations Gare du Nord and Gare de l’est closeby as well as République and Château Landon metro stations it was also very well connected to the rest of Paris. I would recommend this place for sure.

Very cute little boutique hotel. Has anything you might need such as a kitchenette with a small fridge and stove top. Larger room than you would expect for that price in Paris. Close to the Chateau Landon Metro stop.

The room size was excellent, particularly for Paris standards. Fit our family of 5 perfectly. Location was great too, very close to a metro stop and restaurant and the most delicious pastries I've ever eaten just downstairs. Staff was fantastic and the free bottled water a real bonus. Only 3 negatives - there is a convection oven and sink etc but no cutlery/crockery to speak of (well except the coffee cups). There were 2 sky lights over the kids beds but only one would close properly and the shade wouldn't close so made for some very early mornings and finally the sink smelt so bad I had to put a cup over the drain in an effort to stop the small wafting up. Other then those minor things I couldn't fault the hotel, would definitely return and recommend to others.

Brilliant find in Paris
Le Robinet d’Or was a fantastic find in Paris! We had a pleasant surprise when we arrived as we’d been upgraded to the junior suite, which really was stunning. Quirky, very comfortable and lots of great facilities including a Nespresso, robe and slippers, and L’Occitane products. Staff were all very friendly and gave some great recommendations. We had dinner in the restaurant which I highly recommend, and very good value too. Location of hotel is very handy for Gare du Nord (Eurostar), just 10 mins walk. All in all, we couldn’t fault the hotel. Only disappointment was that we didn’t stay for longer!

Le Robinet d’Or
We had issues with lack of hot water but it was resolved after our day trip into the city. The staff was professional but extremely accommodating especially with our need to store our luggage when arriving early and while we visited Notre Dame upon our checkout on our last day in Paris. We have had positive experiences with boutique hotels and this one does not disappoint. We will definitely return.

Amazing hotel stay for one night. They upgraded us to a suite when we arrived and helped take our luggage up to our room for us. We had macaroons waiting on the bed and even nice music playing in the suite. There was a nespresso machine for morning coffee in the room and the toiletries were really nice. The service was over the top friendly and accomodating. They stored our luggage for most of the day after we checked out so that we could explore our last day in paris without our luggage.

The location of this hotel, in the Canal St. Martin area, is excellent. There is easy access to public transportation and great strolling nearby. You feel you are in a real neighborhood, rather than a tourist center. Yet you can walk anywhere you might want to go. We enjoyed a comfortable bed and great bathtub and shower. The location of our room, on the first floor near the kitchen, made things noisy on occasion, but nothing terrible. Service was fine. We stayed here once before and would stay again.
