We had a lovely stay as part of our honeymoon. Comfortable room, friendly staff and good location. A short walk to the metro which takes you to the airport. Would recommend & would stay here again.

Close to the train station, Resturants outside the door, theater next door, arr. 5 or 6 makes it centrally located, breakfast buffets, special taxi can be called when you need them. Beautiful modern hotel

Late arrival at Montparnasse train station. Few minutes to walk. Room not on the street. Quiet. Comfy bed and good shower. Didnt try the breakfast. Helpful staff.

It was a cute hotel at a good location, close to the metro & train. What was not so good was that there was an unexpected heat wave & no air conditioning on yet because it wasn’t required yet so early in the season. My room was stuffy & uncomfortable, which gave me anxiety as I was overheating. I opened a window & it fell on my hand causing tremendous pain. Thank goodness it wasn’t broken but extremely bruised .

Check in was easy and quick. We had a family room - two rooms set up to be able to have a single hallway door. The rooms were comfortable. Check out was frustrating. The employee didn't know how to check us out since we were technically in two rooms. That was the only hiccup during the stay.

I give it a four because a few things could have been adressed. One bedroom on the fifth floor had a foul smell and the curtain in the other one was torn. The taps could be better scrubbed. I like the neighborhood and the convenience of the hotel.

Bad rooms on the court at the ground floor

Rooms facing the internal court at the ground floor are cold, heating is not enough. Always shadow because curtain all along the window to have privacy.

Our overall experience at Hotel Le M was very disappointing. We had been informed the day of arrival that the air conditioning was broken (it had been broken for a couple days) and that it would not be fixed during the duration of our stay. We also paid extra to have the ability to cancel at any time before the day of check in. However they withheld this information from us. Hotel staff “comped us” with a fan… during our stay it was 33 everyday.

Not like the pictures at all! urgent refurb needed

Pros: Staff are nice and it’s a pretty good location as close to montparnasse station and lots of restaurants/bars. Cons: it’s very dated and the decor is beyond tired. It must be photoshopped on the website as I didn’t recognise it on arrival. Like it hasn’t been renovated since the 80s. Given it’s really shabby it makes you feel it isn’t clean, I was particularly worried as the curtains and carpet are dark so seemed it was hiding a multitude of sins. The shower / toilet configuration is awkward as there isn’t much space for the door to open and the sink is separate from toilet which isn’t the most hygienic set up. Also noticed fingerprints all over the light switches so didn’t bother touching anything.
