Was an awesome place to stay during our stay in paris. Close to the trains, quiet and great breakfast and stuff, would definitely recommend this place and will go back
Close to good value food and transportation as well as the park . Room was small but it probably normal for this area . Air conditioning was excelant and the view was nice
Hotel Jardin des Plantes is conveniently located in the Latin Quarter of Paris … restaurants of all types, the beautiful Jardin des Plantes, and the Metro and trains stations nearby. We found the hotel to be clean, and the staff helpful. We also enjoyed starting our days with breakfast and coffee in the hotel.
Great location, quiet, family neighbourhood. Rooms are modern, shower a decent size for Paris. No fridge in the room as we often like milk for tea or some orange juice. There was no kettle either but there was a coffee machine with 2 pods provided. There also could’ve been more lighting in the stairwell. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The staff were very professional and attentive! The hotel is well situated in and around the Latin Quarter.
However, the price was very high for the package and conditions offered.
Great location, nice and quiet but within walking distance of lots of brasseries and boulangerie patisseries, and about 20 minutes walk to Notre Dame. Right on the edge of the Latin Quarter. Felt nice and safe and easy to get around.
Location was great. It's down the street from the Sorbonne with restaurants & cafes everywhere. However, my husband took his shower first in the morning. By the time I got in the shower, water temperature would not adjust. Water was scalding hot & controls would not work. I nearly burned myself trying. My husband also tried. Controls wrre not working. 😢
Quite disappointed with this hotel across the board. With its location we had expected a hotel that was fitting to the Latin quarter.
Interior of the hotel is worn out. In serious need of updating, even simple paint would be an improvement. We booked this hotel because of its location and the roof top deck. The roof top deck was appalling. Dark, dirty, old beaten up furniture and dead plants all around. It was creepy. The elevator was a joke. 2 people was to crowded and its safety was worrisome. We took the stairs which were dark and dangerous. Our check out was early in the AM and upon arrival to the the lobby, staff was asleep on the couch. Breakfast area was acceptable. Thankful the Latin Quarter was perfect. Sorry for this poor review but it was so disappointing for a Paris experience
Great value for the money: all the necessities in the room are covered, great daily cleaning service, a quiet location in close proximity to many popular tourist attractions.
Fabulous location and excellent service. Breakfast was delicious. Only drawback was the tiny elevator and tiny room - like many European hotels. What it lacked in space, it made up for in charm.
Lovely property for a few days in Paris. Location is great, just by the gardens and metro stop down the road. The area didn’t feel overly touristy so had a nice vibe to it. Rooms decent size, although corridors and lifts were very small!
