Stayed during a May heat wave (reached 85-90F during the day), and our room had wonderful A/C unit, windows, and kept cool air inside well. In a more residential, local neighborhood so the streets were not super noisy at night. Pharmacy and Monoprix just around the corner. Wonderful and helpful staff. The only downside was that we stayed on the 5th floor and the elevator only goes up to the 4th, but we had light luggage so it wasn’t a big deal for us. Would stay here again!

This review is based on a stay in August 2026, a time of unusually high temperatures for Paris. Hotel Delambre is a small hotel on a pleasant street within easy walking distance of the Montparnasse train station, the Edgar Quinet and Vavin metro stations, and several bus lines. There are lots of good restaurants nearby. Depending on the day, there is an open air market just down the street. The breakfast is reasonably priced and very good with both hot and cold food choices. There is a small elevator/lift adequate for three people without luggage. The rooms are adequately sized, especially for Paris. The beds are comfortable. The hotel is well-maintained and clean. There is a wall-mounted ductless air conditioner above the door. It does cool the room but, understandably, could not keep it as cool as we like for sleeping. However, the window opens completely and the outside temperature went down at night so we were very comfortable at night. If you need quiet and have the window open, you may need ear plugs until the restaurants close. I did not find it disruptive at all. The owners/desk staff were delightful and very, very helpful. I would definitely stay at Hotel Delambre again.

Although the rooms are rather smallish, the hotel itself is more like a boutique property with charm. It's nicely located in a very quiet, peaceful neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and shops within half a block's walk. The breakfast buffet they put out was wonderful with plenty of options. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. They stored our luggage prior to check-in so we could explore the area. They have a 24-hour concierge available at the front desk. We will definitely consider this hotel if/when we visit again.
