Very nice location, close to several bus and subway line. Also close to many stores and restaurants. But the neighborhood itself is quiet and feels safe. Rooms are a little small but very functional, well decorated, with good AC and many small extras. Staff available and helpful

Fantastic stay at the Best Western Bretagne Montparnasse. Excellent location close to the train station, metro, buses… minutes away from the Gaîté quarter… great restaurants all around. Staff was super friendly and rooms are very comfortable with AC and elevator. I can only recommend, great value!!!

Was great for us

We had a family room, which it turned out we didn't need as some guests had cancelled, but we were glad for the extra space. It was on the top floor and had a loft area with a skylight, which was cool. We didn't try the breakfasts so can't speak to that. The customer service was great. Downside was that the lift didn't actually go all the way to the top floor (not a big deal, but you should be aware), one of the beds (that we didn't use) seemed a little jenky, and parts of the carpet looked like they'd had some staining/spillage in the past that I chose to overlook. Location was in a quieter part of Paris, but still enough going on and close enough to get where you want to go.

The property is very average don't expect a lot it is literally a place you would just go sleep and then go out and explore pairs it is a good location pretty central has some amazing restaurants close by but the cleansiness is a little bit iffy and don't get your hopes up very basic accomodation

I liked this property. The room was a great size. The only issue was they tested the alarms they told us the testing would start at 10am but it actually started at 8:30am and lasted for over an hour.

A solid deal for a solo traveler

A 4-star hotel named Hotel de Bretagne ideally located to a quiet area for a good night sleep to recharge coming from a long-haul flight from LAX to Orly, to catch a TGV fast train at Gare Montparnasse minutes away from the hotel towards Avenue du Maine. I got the room 54 on top floor and the room was clean with a good bed and all amenities as expected. I was travelling solo so this room was fine but probably too small for a couple. The bed is Queen and no outside noise at all with curtains fitting perfectly the only window overlooking Paris roofs. The reception desk was very helpful in getting me checked in. I also loved the noon checkout. They also provide complimentary umbrellas which happened to be very convenient as in my evening I had to get dinner on Avenue du Maine. They offered croissants as much as you can eat and unlimited coffee for 5 €and more full breakfast for 25.

Yohann the receptionist, provided the worst experience ever. I talked to John and he asked me to leave a review which I did. A day later Catherine Mangiapanelli (front office manager) email me and she was even worse! I read of trying to say something to fix the issue she made a lot worse.
