Hostel is close to a metro station. However, there are groups of men that hang around the area, we would not have felt safe walking in the area at night.

Although it was cheap, the hotel is infested with bugs and mosquitoes. Staff was impolite and refused to help with the infestation problem at all. The listing may say private bathroom but only included a private shower. Water temperatures of both the shower and sink are not adjustable. The room itself was unclean and covered with dead bugs. The air conditioning did not work and window barely opens. The surrounding area was unsafe and dirty. You will wake up covered in mosquito bites — I do not recommend this place.

Good value near Gare du Nord

Good value basic accommodation. Private room with basic ensuite and breakfast for well under e100. (NB Towel hire costs extra, and bring your own shower gel/soap). 20 mins walk from Gare du Nord (or there are buses). Nearby métro direct to Gare Montparnasse.

I enjoyed my stay. The place is convient close to all publoc transport. Restaurant and eatery all 3 min walk. Plenty of food options . Staff are very polite/ courteous and there were needed, especially the morrocan security guard i forgot to ask for his name, very helpful. The only thing i could ask them to fix is the toilet seat and drinking water fountains broken

Environmentally friendly. Green space behind. Plenty for breakfast. Quiet rooms and corridors - great soundproofing. Private room with ensuite and shower - 1 double 2 single bunks.

Everything was a chaos, arrived at the place and looked like a place for inmigrants refugees. The water super hot. They rent the towels. I leave the place same day

THE NIGHTTIME GUY IN THE RECEPTION HAS NO PATIENT, he didn’t give the wifi password before he let us go! The surroundings there are not really safe especially at night time there was lots of black people wandering around the corner of the building! Breakfast was good!

A good room. Nice staff. Close to Gare du Nord. Restaurant could be better (e.g. 'boiled' eggs hardly cooked, unsafe, a waste). Recycling provided, but please promote it more. Please give the option of not having sheets changed / room cleaned. Ours were changed and room cleaned after just one night. We only stayed 2. A waste of cleaning products & energy. Lovely garden area and ponds. Good to have TV and space downstairs. Thank you.

It’s not for me

Booked female only room for 4, however, allocated for 2 beds room. If you stay with someone close to you is fine but I have to along with total stranger’s time table. She goes to sleep 21:00 and reacts even footsteps. I could not relax at all. And facilities are so simple especially the shower looks like the one in a prison.

Th place was good value for money. However I specifically booked this place because it advertised a free shuttle service to and from the airport. When I tried to arrange this, they said they didn’t offer this service and needed to remove it from the ad. The walk from the location to the closest Gare du Nord (to get to the airport) is particularly dangerous in terms of pick-pockets/robberies, so besides the added cost of airport transfers, we also had added stress.

Loads of people loitering inside and outside - people leaving garbage out on both sides of the property (on the areas that are supposed to clean park like), except for one English speaking gentleman, staff mostly quite rude - especially in the dining hall. Room clean, but problems with cleaning of bathroom. Water fill up fountains not working, luggage room door left open for long intervals with people going in an out.

Beau séjour en auberge de jeunesse

Bien dans l’ensemble. Nous étions en chambre privée 3 lits avec douche. Les toilettes sont sur l’étage et individuelle. Elles sont nombreuses. La douche mériterait des rénovations. Il y a plusieurs traces de moisissures. Aussi l’eau n’a qu’une seule température, il faut attendre parfois longtemps avant d’avoir de l’eau chaude. La cuisine partagée n’est pas très propre et mal équipée. Elle se trouve au sous sol et est accessible avec une carte à demander à la réception. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien insonorisées. Une buanderie est disponible pour 4 euros et prévoir 2 cycles de séchage donc 3 euros de plus. Les petits déjeuners inclus sont parfaits. C’est un peu loin des principaux points d’intérêts le quartier est sécur mais peu invitant. Il y a des lignes de métro à 10-15 min à pieds. L’auberge ne propose pas d’activités. Un bar est dispo sur place. Quelques soirs (2) sont animés par des cours d’enfance tango et des jeux de sociétés.
