More about the apt...
The common space consists of a comfortable living cum dining area open on a breath-taking view of the city, and an open equipped kitchen. The unique point of the apartment is that the common living areas are on the first floor while the sleeping area is on the second floor along with the view of the city of Paris from both levels; a unique characteristic to find in Paris. It is also perfect, as it does not oblige everyone in the group to call it a night at the same time.
On entering the apartment (first floor), you will find the toilet on the left, a flight of stairs going up to the first floor and the entrance that opens into the living / dining and kitchen areas to the right.
The living room is very large and opens into the sky. It offers a dining area, as well as an open kitchen. The sofa is very comfortable. One also find an armchair, a centre table, and a dining table comfortable for up to 4 guests and TV. It is cosy and warm and is designed to enjoy the large bay window that offers a magnificent view of the city.
The open kitchen is located to the left of the living area. It has bar and is fully equipped for preparing your favourite meals.
Getting up the stairs to the second floor, one finds the 2 bedrooms to the left, the bathroom and a large dressing to the right. The dressing is fully at guest disposal.
Bedroom 1 offers a comfortable double bed, a desk with a chair, an armoire and a very large bay window. As well as … a great view over Paris from the bed.
Bedroom 2 offers a double bed and a bay window (the bed as actually a nice quality sofa bed that remains open full time as guests generally prefer this setting). Once again, the view over Paris is magnificent.
The bathroom is on the right of stairs on reaching the top floor across the dressing room. It is very bright thanks to a large opening in the roofs that brings loads of light. Modernly decorated it offers a bathtub with a handheld shower, a vanity area with a large mirror and a clothes washing machine.
There is another separate toilet on the first floor. Please note that the internal stairs where designed by the building architect without a handrail. Steps are easy to climb . There is walls on either one or both sides. nevertheless, if any of your party has difficulties to climb stairs or in case you have elderly peole or yound children, we would recommend to select another of the apts whe propose. As one can see form the 5 stars review it doe snot raise an issue to most guests.
In case you need assistance, we are staying minutes from the apartment.
Neighborhood:
- When going outside the building, and turning twice left after the BIO food shop, one will find the nearby and lovely "Square Léon Serpollet", a very nice garden with dedicated playgrounds for the children.
- As you walk through Montmartre you will pass many winding and picturesque streets with fascinating houses, stairs and wonderful views over Paris. Look for the Montmartre Vineyard, walk to 'Place du Tertre' where artists will offer to draw your portrait and see Picasso’s house and the Salvador Dali museum. Visit the famous Sacre Coeur Moorish-looking church.
- On the 'Rue des Abbesses' you will discover shops, cafes and clothing stores and in 'Rue Lepic' you will come across the market, wine shops - the cheese shop was rated n° 3 in France – bakeries and charcuteries. It’ll take a few days to select your preferred “café” !!! Walk down to the Moulin Rouge and experience the Paris nightlife.
- The Champs-Elysees is only a ten-minute Metro ride; the Eiffel Tower, Le Marais, Les Halles, and Saint-Germain are all between 15- 20 minutes from Abbesses.

The place had everything we needed for a short family vacation clean comfortable all amenities and great view apt.Plus great cafe, boulangerie metro grocery store and bars within 2 blocks. Very responsive and helpful managers too. Highly recommend !
The place was lovely. The views were amazing at night- I enjoyed coming back at night to the twinkling city lights.
The beds were comfortable and it was nice having two bathrooms.
Im glad we stayed at this place as it was very cozy and welcoming with a beautiful view. There’s lots of great restaurants to eat within a block radius as well a small fresh green grocer right at the entrance of the building that has great produce and wine if you want to cook in. Would definitely stay there again.
There weren’t any trash baskets other than the 1 in the kitchen which was inconvenient for garbage. No toilet paper holders. The bed was not comfortable, hard. The view was the best part and convenient for shopping and food. Mahalo
We were there during 90 degree heat and no homes in France have AC. The host had fans in our bedrooms and we were completely comfortable. Windows on both floors opened completely and mornings were lovely and cool sitting on the living room sofa overlooking Paris. And there is a great bakery with an espresso machine right across the street.
Nice place to stay on the 11th floor with nice views of the city. We were a family of 3. Close to (about 10 min walk) for many public transport options and in a neighborhood full of restaurants, shops and bakeries. Highly recommend
Nice appartment with a stunning view over Paris. It's located in a vibrant neighborhood with lots of nice restaurants and bars and good access to public transportation. We had a great time during the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
Everything from pre-arrival communication, check-in (enjoyed the hands-off approach, no time pressure!), and the apartment itself - was great. Beds, kitchen, bathrooms, laundry - everything we needed! Nice, quiet neighbourhood - close to everything we needed (bakery, grocery store, metro, restaurants) as a base for exploring Paris while being able to get away from the tourists.
The flat was tremendous. My husband and I are ‘sleep divorced, ! So having two bedrooms was just great. The view from the living room was fantastic. The bedrooms get pitch black at night due to the ability to close the metal external shades—great for jet lag recovery. Two toilets is really great and the place was located tremendously in the MontMarte area. Really nice would stay again. Equipped with coffee, nice fridge, everything we needed. Host was very responsive.
All 4 of us upon arrival were thrilled with the view. Our stay was comfortable and all our needs were met. A Parisian lifestyle is what we wanted and what we received. We loved the park below and the sounds of children playing. The only inconvenience was that the lights in the first floor did not come on when coming in after dark. It felt a little uncomfortable for us. Over all we were very happy with our stay.
Location was good because walking distance to lots of good places in Montmartre. Apartment itself was comfortable except the upstairs bathroom sink where washing machine is had a terrible smell. There was very large political spray painted messages next to the apartment building which wasn’t welcoming, but we’re removed after two days.
This apartment really feels like a home. The view is stunning.
The apartment managers were also incredibly helpful when we (unfortunately and accidentally) dropped the keys down the elevator shaft! Despite it being late in the evening the property managers figured out how we could get a spare key and get back in. Very much appreciated!
We had a nice stay in this spacious well-appointed apartment in Montmartre. The location was great - very close to a couple of markets, great / diverse restaurants and the metro. The apartment has two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs and a WC and living area/kitchen/dining on the main floor. No AC but we were able to keep cool with multiple fans and windows that open wide. Great view too and the elevator was nice. The only thing I would mention is that the staircase might be tricky for some people.Thank you for the nice stay!
We came from the USA via London for a long weekend in Paris. This apartment was perfect for what we needed. We didn’t prepare any meals in the apartment, though we did buy snacks and drinks at the market across the street. The walk to the Metro was easy enough, and once we had tickets we could take the bus back to the train station. The owner/manger was quite attentive and responded quickly to the notes I sent. The park and playground behind the building was a wonderful plus for our kids (11-year-old twins).
We loved this apartment. The view was lovely and the neighborhood charming. The apartment was very clean and had a fully stocked kitchen. The atmosphere was both chic and homey. My only complaint was the mattress in the larger room (red room) is almost worn out and is becoming uncomfortable. The pull-out bed in the smaller white room was very comfortable. We did not use the pullout in the living room, so no comment. We will definitely book this apartment again! ♡

Nice apartment in great family neighborhood
We stayed with our 8 yo granddaughter for 6 nights. The bedrooms were good sized and perfect for the 3 of us. We found a fresh vegetable and fruit store right next to the building, a Carrefour shop across the street and a wonderful bakery, Gamine, down from Carrefour. A great variety of restaurants in the neighborhood. The number12 metro stop is an easy walk.
Our check in was not great because of out of date information sent to us, but once we were in the apartment, all was good. We found email the best way to communicate with the management company.
The view from this apartment is spectacular. The details provided to check in were clear and once we were there, simple to follow. The location is AMAZING! The Montmartre neighbourhood is one of my favourite locations to stay in if you want to be removed slightly from the extremely touristy zones. The metro is right there and only 15-20 minutes to all the main attractions like the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. Also, walking through the beautiful streets of Montemartre is worth staying at this location. There’s a grocery store with everything you need right across the street too and the kitchen has everything you need! The Nespresso is a nice touch too
Nice, quiet flat in great location with some issues
Some things about this flat are spectacular. The rental management was superb, with InBeauParis and Jean-Nicholas providing detailed information well in advance, staying communicative during the stay, and effectively handling a couple of issues (one caused by us, one a problem with the water). We loved the location, convenient and in a non-touristy neighborhood with a park filled with Parisians and children in the back, lots of good bakeries and restaurants and shops, and reasonably convenient for transit and Velib (although bikes tend to get thin in this part of the city). The view is wonderful! The flat is very quiet and comfortably furnished, and we particularly appreciated having electric fans. Note that the stairs are tricky, narrow and spiral, and people with mobility issues might want to take that into account.
The reasons this isn't a five-star review are that the flat could use some repairs, the key access is awkward, and that there are clearly systemic problems with the building maintenance. We had no hot water for the last 2 1/2 days of our stay (and were more than adequately reimbursed for that), and saw a note in the lobby complaining that this is happening frequently. Another reviewer mentioned that the elevator was out during the summer. While not the fault of either the rental management or the owner, this is potentially pretty disruptive to a stay.
The apartment was as described and neat and clean. There were a few items that I would suggest they improve, but overall, we were pleased.
- There was no duvet for the couch. (Luckily it was VERY hot and my son didn't need one.)
- The entrance lobby and hallway outside the apartment were pitch dark. We figured out eventually where the light switches are, but when you come in at night the first time and it's completely dark, it's a bit strange.
- We got locked in the apartment for a few hours. This wasn't their fault, obviously, though it was a set back to our day. The important thing here was that the man we spoke with about it was incredibly kind and helpful. They did send a locksmith.
- I appreciate that they want to keep the check-in process safe, but I've never had to walk a couple of blocks to the lock box for the entrance key. It felt a bit convoluted, and then I couldn't get it open for about 10 minutes. Eventually it opened, and I don't know why it wasn't at first - I didn't do anything differently, but it was unnerving. And I tried to call the place but it was Sunday and closed. I left a message hoping they would call back, but eventually got it open, and called back to say I got it and no call was necessary.
As I mentioned, none of those were game changers, just small inconveniences to note. The overall experience was positive, and we loved our stay in Montmartre, so thank you.
My husband, 12 yo son, and I loved staying here. The apartment was beautifully put together, we were able to walk to a myriad of places, and it felt like a true Parisian experience.
Not a bad little place. The location is great but the place has a musty smell to it. It only has one trash can and only 1 set of keys so everyone has to plan out when they need the keys.
