Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Location-wise, the apartment was well-situated. However, we found numerous health and safety issues, and were extremely disappointed with the accommodation itself. Some of the main reasons for this were around the cleanliness of the space.
- the bathroom was in near unusable condition, and full of mould on the ceilings, as well as around the sink (this was the same case in the kitchen)
- We could hear mice overhead (in the ceiling) every evening and as we tried to sleep at night
- The walls to the bedroom were paper thin, and we were disrupted every night by large parties of young drunk men returning to the neighbouring suite at 2:30 in the morning and could clearly hear their conversations and music
- The kitchen was very unclean which resulted in us not wanting to cook in it during our stay
We would have checked out after the first night if we could. I would request a follow-up from Expedia’s customer service support please.
