Search Parajas hotels

The best area to stay in Parajas is the main town itself, Parajas de Abajo, or the tranquil coastal village of Parajas de Arriba.

Parajas de Abajo is the larger of the two, located slightly inland but still offering easy access to the coast. It's where you'll find the majority of the local amenities, including traditional Asturian restaurants, a bustling Sunday market, and the historic Church of San Juan Bautista. The main square, Plaza Mayor, is a lovely spot for an evening stroll.

For couples seeking a peaceful retreat, Parajas de Arriba is an excellent choice. This smaller, picturesque village is right on the coast, providing stunning sea views and immediate access to Playa del Silencio, a beautiful, secluded beach. The pace of life here is slower, with a few charming guesthouses and seafood eateries.

Families will find Parajas de Abajo more convenient due to its wider range of accommodation options and dining choices.
