"We had a lovely stay at Cozy Casitas! Joani was a lovely host and was very helpful and gave great local advice. The accommodation was very clean, the kitchen had everything you need, the outdoor area was peaceful and enjoyable, and most importantly the air conditioning worked very well. We recommend renting a car as taxis can get quite expensive quickly - we rented a car for $231USD for about a week from Chener car rental and we recommend organizing that instead of paying for taxis. "I arrived at check in time of 4pm and was not able to check in because the manager was not there. She showed up 45 minutes later. Check in was OK. I asked about the time for the free continental breakfast the details showed. She claims because it wasn't on the confirmation of the reservation, she was not going to honor it. The ad also says free airport shuttle. Details to contact the property did not come up on my end until I was already in route to the property so I ended up taking a taxi. ...

"Unique experience in converted shipping containers. The place is clean but could use some additional maintenance. The room itself did not have hot water, showers are solar heated, i.e. lukewarm at best. The grounds are a work in progress, the caretakers are busy working but looks like it'll be a while before everything is updated. "The room was very clean and the bedding was very comfortable. The stairs leading to our room were very steep. Our room was situated separate from the other rooms. Assistance was needed to carry luggage upstairs and these stairs could be deemed as challenging for the elderly and people with special needs. The staff are very friendly. "We stayed here the week of April 15th. Mayel and Ronny met us at the house to check or in and out of the property. They are really great and it was a pleasure to meet them. The house is centrally located and it’s a quick 15 minutes to just about anywhere. The bedrooms are furnished with individual AC units which are great. "The property was absolutely amazing and the staff were so kind. Housekeeping were always awesome and left the room speck and clean and smelling good every day. The breakfast was good but repetitive and lots of roosters on the property to let you know when it’s the morning. However the property is situated quite far inside the island so unless you rent a car or are willing to call a taxi everything it will be inconvenient.
