"The cool air conditioning in rooms are amazing don’t leave balcony door open.The staff are very well mannered I really enjoy they take pride in making sure the rooms was always cleaned up with new towels in place breakfast was awesome as well "

"This was my first time staying at the Marriott Stellaris and Casino and unfortunately I most likely will not return. The food options were good and the prices were decent. The casino was decent and at night the lobby is very lively. We didn’t try the sushi but heard it was good. The Starbucks was always a good option for coffee or a snack. The beach is great and the staff is helpful. All staff had great attitudes which helped you feel like you were well taken care of. The property is clean. There are large rock areas that should have water flowing but they were not working during our way. It took away from the luxury aspect of the resort. During check in, the receptionist advised us that you can reserve a palapa at 5 PM the night before for the following day. She didn’t mention anything about paying for a palapa (which costs $30 per day) or booking a palapa much more in advance. We were there for six days and were only able to book a palapa two of the days due to each one being taken. The only real complaint is the humidity in the room. We couldn’t really narrow down why or how it was so humid but it was so humid in the room it was hard to sleep. We left our suitcases open and by day 2, all of the clothing in the suitcases were damp. By day 3, there was a “wet” stench on the clothes. My husband’s allergies are sensitive which caused him to be uncomfortable most of the time in the room."

"The drinks by the pool were not strong. The lunch by the pool( inside) was really good. I wish this property had an Asian restaurant! Also a shuttle to and from the airport would have been good, especially since the island isn’t very big. Additionally, it would have been nice to have servers on the beach for drinks. Also the spa prices were crazy high. So I didn’t use them. The aloe store is nice. The buffet dinner is pretty good and breakfast is good as well. One very disappointing thing was room service had about 5 things on it. I have never seen such a sparse room service menu. It was odd."

"Our stay at the Renaissance was absolutely amazing. Our suite was beautiful, the resort had so much to do, especially the private flamingo island, and the staff was so accommodating. We will be back"

"don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt like I had to share my experience. If you’re looking for a nice place to stay without spending a ton of money, this hotel is honestly a great choice. The rooms were really spacious and super clean, which made a big difference for me. The location is also hard to beat. They have carts that can take you over to Eagle Beach, and right across the street is Divi Beach—such a beautiful spot. There’s even a restaurant right by the beach where you can sit, eat, and enjoy an amazing view. I also loved the gym it’s big and has a great view, which made working out a lot more enjoyable. What stood out the most, though, was how friendly and welcoming the staff were the whole time. And if you want to go out, it’s only about a 7-minute taxi ride to the downtown area for good food and nightlife. Overall, I had a really great stay and would definitely come back."

"The resort was beautiful but the staff was not the friendliest. The bartenders were grumpy and most of buffet people were grumpy. Our second day there housekeeping tried to come in our room at 8 o’clock in the morning. We were just rolling out of bed. Third day there it’s 11 o’clock on the beach and the workers wanted us to get up out of our chairs so they can spray them down as we are relaxing on the beach. We should wake up early and do that at 6 AM when no one’s on the beach. We also had a problem with making reservations for dinner. They filled up so fast so the first three days we had to eat at the buffet. "
