The unit we stayed in was renovated and worked well for our needs. The kitchen had the basics which met expectations. The pool was cleaned and maintained. The area was quite and the host was responsive to questions or client needs as they arose.

This is our third time in Aruba, first in the hotel , room was very clean, the ac was excellent, the water pressure in the bathroom was excellent too. The bathroom was remodeled, the refrigerator and the gas cooktop also new. The infinity pool also very nice. The communication with Amir via whatsapp super fast , we needed a cooler and he provided it for us . His uncle very nice too and Elizabeth very nice too, and Bobby the star of the place. I will definitely return next year.

The pictures are exactly as shown. Amir was very quick to respond to any questions and was extremely helpful. The room was very spacious and clean. This being a last minute booking, it didn't disappoint. Only thing I would point out is you need a vehicle to get around to the Beaches. Thank you Amir for your kindness. Amir the property owner was amazing!!! Anything you could possibly need, he could arrange, including transfers from and to the airport. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and clean. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and the bathroom very modern. Renting a car is recommended as the property is a good distance from the beach and about 0.6 miles from the closest Arubus stop.

This is a great property. It’s approximately a 5 minute drive to Eagle Beach and is very centrally located. The suites are very clean and comfortable and the pool area well maintained. There is a dog on site, Bobby, and he’s very sweet. Bring some treats if you stay. The environment is very relaxed and the owner responds to all texts promptly. This will definitely be a property I will rent from again!

We love this place ,it was close to everything!! The place is completely renovated and clean, it is close to one of the best beaches in Aruba, Eagle Beach, and all the restaurants, it is close to a supermarket, a laundry, it is safe, they have a very clean pool!!! Aruba is undoubtedly a happy place with happy people!!!! Thank you Amir for making us feel at home!!!! We can't wait to go back again to this charming and beautiful place !!!!

Fantastic studio apartment! Pool is very nice and with the courtyard, you meet tons of guests. Amir is a fabulous host who quickly responded to our questions. Ling and Sons grocery is only a couple blocks away. You will want to either rent a car or use taxis to go around the island. Location is really nice and a number of restaurants are within walking distance. You are right off the beach so you save $$ but have easy access with only a 15-20 minute walk. Room was clean and newly remodeled.

We stayed 9 nights and really enjoyed this property. The photos accurately represent the place. We weren't looking for a resort environment (did that last year) and didn't want to be in a large, crowded establishment, so this place was perfect for us. It's not a resort, so don't expect many amenities (if that's what you're looking for...) but it has a lovely pool and patio area, both exceptionally clean and relaxing. And they do supply beach towels as well. The unit itself was immaculately clean, tranquil, and comfortable with a separate living area and kitchen, comfy bed and linens, and no mildew or musty smell inside. The location is very close to Eagle and Divi beach (especially if you have a car) but it's also walkable (as we did each day, with the only caveat being that there are sometimes only a few narrow sidewalks for pedestrians, so you have to get used to walking close to traffic whizzing by you). There are also two of the best grocery stores very nearby, a few restaurants, and a great bakery off one of the side streets. But the best thing has to be the owner and his uncle. Wonderfully decent, friendly people, very oriented towards making your trip a smooth and optimized vacation experience for the guests. I'd recommend South Beach Residence for those who want to be away from crowds and noise, and yet close enough to the action. Thanks, Amir & Ramses! Keep up the good work there!

There is no view of the beach and it is in an area that is mixed industrial residential BUT it is on ½ a KM from a major grocery store 1 KM from the beach and 3 ½ KM from downtown Oranjestad. If you are willing to walk a bit, use buses (Stop is at beach. Learn the schedule) and taxis (Always only a few minutes away. Only a bit expensive) you can save hundreds of $ by avoiding a car rental. New owner, Amir and newly renovated with new everything including towels. Amir is always there to help as needed. Great host! But bring your shampoo, etc. (Or buy, prices are not that bad at the grocery store). Best thing I can say is next time we go back we will try to book the same place!

Living the Dream

My wife and I stayed at South Beach Residence for a week. We wanted a quiet place to stay that was away from the touristy areas, which is exactly what we got staying here. The hotel is close to Ling & Son's grocery store, maybe a 5 minute walk. You'll have to get used to not having sidewalks if you want to walk (we did multiple times without any issue) but it is an adjustment if you're used to more formal sidewalks and crosswalks. I told my wife that they're used to it, we're not. I don't believe it is out of the ordinary or unexpected for the local people to see pedestrians along the side of the road. When we arrived, we found a portion of the hotel to be under construction by accidentally going into the wrong room marked 2. One of the buildings is under construction but the rest of the property has been recently renovated. I made up a story of the hotel that I'm not sure whether or not it is true, but it holds up in my mind. I believe that Amir recently spent his life savings to purchase this property which I believe may have been an apartment complex. It was recently renamed South Beach Residences as most of the taxi drivers weren't familiar with that name, but once we showed them where it was, they were able to find it easily. If my story about Amir spending his life savings to own and renovate a hotel, he is living the dream. It is a lot work but if anyone can do it, it is Amir. I give him all my respect for following his dream and having a vision.

I had an amazing stay at South Beach Residences Oct 2025. The location is easily accessible by car and close to many amenities. The room felt new, it was very clean, spacious and had everything I needed for my stay. They even had beach chairs annd umbrellas for us to borrow during the duration of our stay. Amir was extremely helpful and informative! He met us upon arrival and made us feel very welcome. 10/10 highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed.

Love it!!!!!! Amir is the sweetest and most professional guy ever! It is a nice little hotel & apt style residence...the pool is wonderful. It is very close to the supermarket, totally walkable. If you walk for about 15 mins-ish to the right side the hotel, there are lots of good restaurants; Italian, dutch, pizza, and etc! Highly recommended South Beach Residence!!!

Amir was a wonderful host, and was very helpful when we were in Aruba. The location of the apartment was great, and it was easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. I would highly recommend renting a car, however, as Aruba is not the most walkable island. It was great to be close to restaurants, beaches, and grocery stores. We would definitely recommend staying at this property!

Amir is a fantastic host. Checking to make sure everything is going well and making recommendations about the activities on the Island. Checked in just enough but wasn't interrupting our vacation at all. He also gave us a great price on a rental with a contract and insurance. The car was brand new. He also has a very nice SUV for those who need a little more room. A small car was perfect for the 2 of us. He is in the process of completing renovations but there was no noise that bothered us at all. He is educated, well spoken, and speaks several languages. He is a younger guy with a lot of hustle and great business ideas and it's refreshing to see someone working so hard to be successful. The pool was beautiful and very clean. There is no microwave yet but there is a gas cooktop, fridge, coffee maker and some cooking utensils. Nothing super fancy but we made eggs for breakfast and they were delicious. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. There were also 2 chairs and an umbrella to take to the beach which was a nice touch and saved us money at the beach. We will stay again when we go back (this was my 3rd time on the island. Stayed in all inclusive in Palm Beach before). I wish this place had been open 2 years ago.. would have saved me thousands! There is also a very friendly stray dog named Bobby who has "gotten to the soul" of a very soft hearted person who is renting long term and he takes good care of him.
