"This is the best place to stay after busy and loud crowds of the city. Alfonso is the most gracious of hosts and has built a beautiful home with six guest rooms that each have their own bathrooms, all situated around an inner courtyard. Dinner was excellent…one of the best meals I’ve had in awhile. The room was comfortable and I loved the wooden shutters that blocked all the light out. Very peaceful and quiet. "This is a stunning hotel. 5 stars in all areas. It is part of the Parador chain which is similar to the National Trust in England. The building itself is historic and features unique spaces for resting, having a drink or eating. The rooms are tastefully decorated and include tea making facilities and a mini bar. The air conditioning works perfectly. The pool is situated in the lower part of the estate. It is adjacent to a bar area that serves drinks, and there is friendly pool guard who is around all day. Parking is very close to the property and is free of charge. The views from all the rooms are breathtaking. What a memorable stay! "

Historic patrician country house with exceptional location

"If you want an idyllic stay in the Spanish countryside, this is your place. We were a family of 17 and fit perfectly. The caretakers, Carmen and Jose were so kind and helpful in every way. Carmen prepared fabulous meals for us our entire stay. The location is great for visiting Seville and cordoba. The road to the villa isn’t paved, but it’s a smooth ride. We would definitely return if in the area again. I can’t say enough good things about Carmen, and the solitude of this historic house set among pistachio trees."

"Our third visit, and our stay was as special as both previous ones. Peacefulness, remoteness, spotlessly clean room, very efficient A//C, light comfy lounge area. The swimming pool was much appreciated, as was the poolside bar (weekends) and the delicious food from the Oromana restaurant - open Monday - Saturday evenings and weekend lunchtimes. But... what makes this hotel exceptional is it's staff. Waiting staff, housekeeping, behind the scenes staff we never met, and reception staff were polite and professional. Reception staff in particular were helpful, organising taxis, restaurant bookings and drinks durung the day when the bar wasn't manned. All the reception staff worked very hard, and went above and beyond to fulfil our requests. But one gentleman stood out. Thankyou Fran for taking time to make us feel extra special - always a smile, handshake, advice on festivals we may enjoy another year and he produced an iron and extra coat hangers in a flash. He made us feel we were friends as well as guests. Thank you Fran, for your genuine wishes that we had a good stay at The Oromana."

"A beautiful hotel. We thought that the breakfast was a little underwhelming and there is no restaurant out of season, however there are plenty of good places to eat in Osuna or the towns nearby. Our room was fabulous and would happily stay there again. Staff were very helpful and friendly despite having to sit in the central courtyard in the cold!"
