Your covered ocean-view lanai is the heart of the cottage. Sip Kona coffee at sunrise, watch for whales in winter, do morning yoga, or unwind with an evening drink under the stars. The setting is tropical and secluded, surrounded by fruit trees, yet only minutes from town.

Seasonal fruit trees on the grounds include lychee, banana, longan, coconut, breadfruit, mulberry, tangerine, and soursop (guanabana). You are welcome to pick what is in season.

GOOD TO KNOW
- This is an adults-focused couples and solo retreat. For safety, our grounds include an unfenced deck and a pond, so the cottage is not suitable for children or infants.
- This is one of three cottages on the property. The yard, deck, and outdoor lounge are shared with other guests; your cottage, lanai, and bathroom are private.
- We sit at about 500 ft elevation on the windward coast. Temperatures stay around 67 to 81°F with constant trade winds, so no air conditioning is needed.
- Being on the windward side, we stay clear of vog even during volcanic activity, and Lava Zone 8 keeps us safe from eruptions. You get some of the cleanest air anywhere.
- Nature is close. You may spot harmless geckos, wild chickens, or hear coqui frogs at night. Hawaii has no snakes and no venomous wildlife.
- We recommend drinking bottled water during your stay.
- On-site laundry is available for longer stays.
- A local guidebook with waterfalls, black-sand beaches, scenic drives, and food spots is provided.
