Overall, we had a great stay. The location was very central and made getting around easy, especially with convenient Uber pickups. The hotel was clean, lively, and a great value for the price. The food and drinks were also high quality. We honestly didn’t spend much time eating or drinking at the hotel, but that had nothing to do with the quality. We just wanted to get out and explore as much of the city as possible. Overall, a great place to stay and we’d definitely recommend it.

Really funky hotel in great location in Panama’s old town. Surrounded by colonial buildings, shops and views. Cathedral and canal history museum. Tantalo is famous for its rooftop bar which serves great cocktails, has an amazing view and loud music to 3am which does reach the rooms to some extent.

Good location, nice staff and the view from the rooftop. However the noise was just too much, people screaming into the early hours of the morning. Even earplugs didn’t help. Wouldn’t recommend staying there unless you are planning to party all night or can sleep through the earthquake.
