Skipper-extends from Beach Front to Harbor with Kayaks, Pickleball & Dock

The Skipper is a well appointed beach front vacation home with the harbor and dock just across the street. The property is .5 acres with plenty of room to bring a boat. A boat ramp is within walking distance. The fishing both in shore and off shore is like no other place.
The house is beach front with balconies overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The harbor with a shared dock is across the street. It has a balcony as well.
Kayaks are available for guests to use. Contact owner to get outfitted with lifejackets. A Pickleball court is reserved for your use at no extra charge.
Leashed pets are welcomed on our beaches.

Skipper has the best deck on all of Alligator Point. You can see the sunset better than any other place - taller and nothing blocking your view!

Beautiful Location

Amazing location, nice and secluded and great fishing. House was perfect for a couple or small family and had everything you needed. Be prepared for a lot of stairs and be sure to bring your own food lol. Wonderful place to decompress and just relax.

Fantastic stay at the Skipper!

The perfect place for a group of four. This a not a place to go if you a looking for a touristy area. It was absolutely perfect for us. Quiet, beach access right out back. All the amenities we needed and spacious enough we weren’t in each others way. We’d definitely stay here again.

It was our anniversary and it was a prefect getaway from South Florida. Beach was beautiful but the great surprise was all the wildlife since it is near national parks....great time..thanks to the host she was great!!!

Serenity and Seclusion

Our stay at the Skipper Beach House was delightful! We spent New Year's at the Skipper and the beaches were serene and not over run by tourists. The views are absolutely breathtaking from all areas of the beach house! I loved sitting on the balcony with my pups while I indulged in a book with the sounds of the ocean in the background! Robin was a great host! I will definitely be coming back to this piece of paradise!

A quiet, restful getaway.

My husband, myself and our 2 dogs spent a week at this lovely home. Set right on the beach, you can hear the waves lapping all day, and that's about the only sound you'll hear. Beautiful sunsets/sunrises. Absolute tranquility. The house is well stocked, bed very comfortable. Everything as described in listing. Would love to come back.

What a beautiful home! The view was amazing and how you could walk right onto the beach. Tried to reach owner but fridge leaks. Master needs a tv 😆 we enjoyed our stay.

Little piece of heaven!

If you are looking for some where to simply enjoy the beach with very few people around, this is the place! The beach is pristine, perfect for looking for shells! The home is relaxing and literally steps from the beach. The porches offer a perfect place to realax and listen to the waves crash! We have been to other beach areas in Florida, but this was super special!

Beautiful location

The Skipper did not disappoint! The house was extremely clean, right down to the baseboards and corners! The beach was beautiful and quiet. We lucked out with a gorgeous week of weather. Found beach treasures galore. Enjoyed sunset walks everyday with the best photo ops because there were no crowds of people to contend with. The ice machine in the freezer was the only thing out of order, but we were able to get ice at the marina very near by! Thanks for sharing your place with us Robin!

Relaxing

We enjoyed the area so much, and the house is 'as advertised'. So dark at night we stargazed and watched comets, satellites etc. Eat at Poseys, go to Wakuylla and take the boat tour and have a meal in the dining room. Lot;s of fishing and boating opportunities....or just bring some books.

Beautiful view and perfect place to get away

The property is beautifully located to enjoy the waves from the gulf. The beach is quiet and the area is amazing. Away from the hustle and bustle. Plan to pack your meals in and the kitchen is well stocked with cookinb essentials. The outdoor shower is great to rinse off the salt and sand. The patios have great outdoor furniture to sit and enjoy the Gulf. Communication with the host was excellent. Dont pass this up!

Perfect Getaway

The house is right on the beach. There are two levels of porches that offer the most beautiful views of the beach and the sunrises and sunsets. It was so peaceful! It was just me and my dog. The beach is dog-friendly and it is gorgeous! There is a nice paved path beside the street that is great for walks or bike rides. It feels so remote and so special there. I definitely recommend it!

Best spot right on the beach!

A perfect 5-star retreat! This beach house was an absolute gem—secluded, well-equipped, and a dream come true. Waking up to gorgeous sunrises, kayaking adventures, and incredible sunset views made every moment special. The owners provided thoughtful touches and made our stay unforgettable. My dog’s beach freedom was the cherry on top. Highly recommend for a blissful getaway! They have replaced the living room sofa with a very comfortable sofa with a chaise attached and also put a tv in the master bedroom. We will definitely be back!

Vacation 2024

Wonderful vacation spot if you enjoy a quiet beach, cooking dinners and a relaxing laid back atmoshere. The rental is lovely! We were steps from the beach. The porch furniture was inviting and comfortable. The perfect spot for morning coffee or a little spirits after a day on the beach. So many rentals have hard, cheap uncomfortable porch furniture. We spent most of our time lounging on the porch (when not on the beach). It was hard to leave! We enjoyed our stay and look to return, Thank you for sharing your little peace of happiness!

Amazing ocean front house!!

This place was awesome. Even with two flights of stairs..Or Three if you count the stairs going to house. Beds on main level with 2 bedrooms 1 queen with tv or king with no tv and 2 bathrooms. The master bathroom is small but it's nice to have your own bathroom. Also helpful that you had a bathroom close to use. Two beautiful decks with amazing views. Loved the dock on bay side as well. Multiple fishing spots. October was amazingly quiet and very private. My dog loved being off leash. I will 100% rent this place again. Host was very nice and easy to communicate with. She even asked if we wanted a Tv for master but we loved it without. Amazing place to stay and fish and enjoy the ocean front views and access to the beach.

Porch to Paradise

The location was perfect, with stunning panorama views. Access was nearly instant to our coastal utopia. The house was extremely clean and everything it promised to be. I love that every little thing was not listed, as one can find all sorts of extra amenities by looking around; just one of the hidden gems of our vacation. My husband and I (with our two dogs) had such a good time that, even after evacuating to Tallahassee (due to Hurricane Idalia), we chose to return. It was total chaos, but worth the effort to enjoy as much time as we could, at Skipper. Our host, too, was unbelievably helpful and directed us to the best pet friendly hotel experience we've ever had, at Aloft. It should not go without saying that the next door homeowners were the most accommodating and friendly folks we've had the pleasure to meet on vacation. In fact, most residents of Alligator Point are very outgoing and helpful. We were even able to observe/participate in baby turtle releases of those who were able to be rescued, after the storm. Our last minute getaway did not disappoint. To say everything nice about this property and destination would require me to write a book.
