Best place in Palmer, Alaska
Colette is the perfect hostess! Her cabin is warm and cozy and the view is fabulous! It is the perfect spot to just breathe and relax. It is an easy drive into town to shop and for restaurants and the sheep are an added bonus! They love to be fed and petted and will greet you every time! I would highly recommend her place!

Amazing Cabin!
We all fell in love with this cabin and the sheep. The location is spectacular and beautiful view of mountain range. We only stayed two nights and wished I booked for longer.

Absolutely PERFECT!
Better than described. We stayed here for nights 4 and 5 of our Alaskan adventure and we are SO happy with the cabin! We walked in on a rainy day and just melted into the peace and serenity of the cabin. If I were to ever list my own rental I would hope to do it as well as they have done!! Just perfect! I know it’s going to be our favorite stop of this trip!

Nice Location & Cabin
Great option for staying in Palmer with access to Talkeetna (Alaska Railroad - Hurricane Turn) and a variety of sites to see. The cabin was nicely equipped and would recommend.

Wonderful Alaskan Getaway
Six of us thoroughly enjoyed our time here! It was great as our base camp so we could head out exploring in different directions. The best part was coming "home" to a beautiful view and sharing memories of the day with special people!

I wish it hadn't been such a bizarre week of fires in AK, pushing smoke to our valley AND constant firemen at my door needing a place to land for just a few hours. This cabin is perfect!
It is a beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting! Clean, comfortable, by far one of the nicest VRBO's we have ever stayed at. Collette is incredibly welcoming and helpful. The location is so convenient to many activities. Our stay was perfect!

We stayed at the cabin for 2 nights and loved it. Lots of room and very comfortable. Only a little disappointed that the fireplace was electric and not a "real" fireplace. Kitchen was quite stocked and coffee bar was amazing! Only two small complaints--with 5 of us, we ran out of hot water if we all tried to shower so some showered of a morning and the others at night; and their were towels in the washer when we arrived that were soured. Overall it was a GREAT cabin and I would highly recommend it to anyone!!

Dream Alaskan Cabin
What an amazing Alaskan getaway! We had the joy of staying at the cabin while visiting family in Palmer for Thanksgiving. The cabin was warm and inviting- right out of a Hallmark movie! Collette had everything ready for our stay and we couldn’t have been more impressed. We can’t wait to come back to the cabin for a summer trip.

Beautiful hideaway perfect for a family!
Quiet, serene, and picturesque. The host left the door open for us, with music playing and soft lighting for our late-night arrival. The beds were wonderful, the grounds lovely, and the sheep sweet as could be. Be sure to visit the yarn/ceramic shop on-site!

Beautiful retreat
This property is perfection! We arrived to soft music, lighting and fireplace lit! The beds were so comfortable and comfy sofas to relax on! We loved feeding the sheep and the amazing views!! We couldn’t be happier with our stay! Thank you Collette!!

Super relaxing and beautiful home
First, I cannot say enough about how welcoming Collette is. Not only did she make check-in easy, but she went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. Great communications well before arrival on the check in process, directions, local information, restaurants, etc. The home itself is in an absolutely beautiful setting. You could sit on the front porch or the swing in the front yard and watch the beautiful mountains all day long. Very comfy beds and all the amenities you will need. Furniture is all very comfortable and in good shape. Convenient location to a great many beautiful hikes and activities in the area. I highly recommend this wonderful home for your next vacation. The hardest part was leaving.

Amazing Cabin - FIVE STAR
This cabin was awesome and the views overlooking the mountains were incredible. The owners were very easy to work with and extraordinarily accommodating. The town of Palmer was quaint and easily accessible to Anchorage as well as multiple hiking trails. The sheep roaming in the adjacent lot were an added bonus for our group. The property is also almost certainly the best-stocked of any in which we've stayed during our considerable travels. We cannot recommend this property highly enough. Dave K July 2021

Comfortable and cozy on great property. Kids loved feeding the sheep and now want to learn how to knit. Kitchen has what you need, coffee and pancake essentials are supplied. Property is beautiful and close to Palmer. Kids loved the reindeer farm and parents loved Hatcher Pass, so all was well. Thank you!

Wonderful stay in the Cabin!
My husband, son & I recently stayed 2 nights in the Cabin. The space was more than we needed, but the pictures & description caught my attention & I couldn't pass up the chance to stay here. Collette was great to deal with ahead of time, left a nice note to greet us & plenty of information regarding the Cabin & surrounding areas inside. The Cabin was exactly like the pictures, very warmly decorated & lovely in every way. We shopped for supplies in Palmer & made a few meals in the well equipped kitchen. With only 2 days and lots that we planned to do in the surrounding area, we didn't get to explore the property except for the area behind the Cabin, but did get to say Hi to the sheep & check out the beautiful handmade items for sale in the Dirt Sheep. The damage deposit was promptly credited to us by Collette after our stay. I would recommend a stay at the Cabin to anyone looking for a beautiful relaxing place to stay while in the Palmer area.

Would have given it a 10 if I could
We are 4 friends on a 12 day fishing trip throughout Alaska. We spent 2 nights at this property. Arrived late...very late. No Problem! The cabin was immaculate. The attention to detail was amazing in this cozy little cabin. Absolutely no problem sleeping four adult men in separate beds. All beds were very spacious and comfortable. The living room area was very comfortable with nice seating and ROKU TV. The views out the front of the cabin were outstanding. It was located in a very nice neighborhood, yet gave us a feeling of isolation. It was well positioned for the things we wanted to do... Hatchers Pass, Matanuska Glacier, fishing on the Susitna River and only a 3 hour drive to Denali. The cabin was as advertised except for one small detail. The outdoor grille was actually at the main house which was about 75-100 yards away. We would have preferred to have a grille at the cabin and not have had to worry about disturbing the owners. The owners may want to consider putting a small outdoor grille at the actual cabin. All of us in our party would have given it a 10 if we could have. I would definitely rent this property again.

Thank you Dave! AND... because I totally agree with you on the grill thing, have already got one ordered and additionally a small firepit for the yard over there. We have a large firepit here at the house for guests, but the cabin is only 2 years old (moved it in 2 years ago, tho it was built long ago) and I'm VERY receptive to helpful input on any way possible to make it all perfect.
