Peaceful get-away

We stayed with close family to celebrate an anniversary at this beautiful retreat in the hills of Palm Springs. We enjoyed the peaceful, private surroundings while also being close to downtown restaurants and shopping. We'll definitely be back again!

Desert Retreat!

Amazing desert retreat! The attention to detail throughout the home was wonderful, reality exceeded the photos, the pool with the spa build into the natural boulders was a sanctuary in the high heat. Would highly recommend and plan on a yearly return.

Beautiful Retreat

This is the first time we stayed at this home. It was all that we expected and more. A beautiful, tranquil retreat to simply dwell and enjoy the views inside and out. Quiet, secluded, yet very close to great restaurants and hiking. Galleries near as well. The pool and spa are stunning and blend beautifully with the mid-century modern home that is open and airy. This is perfect relaxation and way to do Palm Springs. We will be back for another stay! And our host (Chris) could not have been more helpful and attentive.

Amazing vacation

Amazing vacation. Hands down outstanding, great views, open spaces, serene pool and spa nestled in large natural rock formations, private and close to trails and town. Easy to check-in the the host Chris was great with every detail. Fantastic stay!

The Views

Our first impression was how clean and fresh the house was. Then the views! The space and the comfort of the house was just wonderful. We loved the place so much we didn't want to leave to explore but found wonderful restaurants and shopping but also hiking and relaxing on the patio. We definitely want to come back sometime. Chris was so responsive, friendly and took care of us if we had any questions or requests for recommendations. The house was also well stocked which we really appreciated. Thank you for a delightful experience!

Great home, perfect setting, wonderful views

This home is spacious, with great views and an ideal location. The hosts were fabulous to work with. Sited on the hillside, it is close to Palm Springs, is very private, and has one of the areas best hikes right outside the backdoor. Highly recommended!

Great Place To Stay!

This was our third stay because we love it so much. The house is very comfortable with wonderful outdoor space and views. Location is very close to downtown Palm Springs but is very private & peaceful. The hiking trails that start behind the house are great too.Chris was wonderful, gave us all the information we needed and was always available for questions. Definitely will go back again!

spectacular, private oasis

This was one of the best-appointed and cared-for homes we've stayed in! And it's SO private--no need for bathing suits up here!! The only "visitors" we had were the wonderful birds and we even saw a few mountain goats on the nearby hills. Chris is so warm and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed, including an early check-in. The pool and hot tub are amazing, and the house itself is incredibly comfortable. The sunsets and sunrises were stunning. You feel like you're a million miles away from everything, yet in reality you're only a few minutes from downtown PS. An outstanding property and host. Thank you, Chris!!

Great Place!!!

This is the second time my sister & I stayed here, loved it so much last year we had to come back. The house is very comfortable and the quiet location minutes from downtown Palm Springs is perfect. The big patio with pool & spa are fabulous & there are great views down to the valley. At the bottom of the driveway there is a hiking trail that leads up to miles of trails. You can often see herds of big horn sheep up there. Can't wait to come back again!!

Terrific Long Weekend

We had a terrific stay for 4 nights and 5 days. The location was amazing - with views of the city and surrounding hillsides. Saw lots of wildlife and even had some weather - a bit of rain one evening. Accommodations were as described and pictured. Stunning unique location for sure. Great location as it was easy to pop down to "town" within minutes. Grocery store etc... minutes away. Enjoyed the Thursday night market on Palm Canyon Dr. and the once a month Sunday Vintage Market at the Palm Springs Cultural Center.

Amazing experience

I cannot adequately explain you how wonderful this house is. Admittedly, architecture and design are of great interest to me, but I think this house and location would not disappoint anyone.It was amazing to experience waking up to a breathtaking view, and falling asleep to another beautiful view of the city lights below.Our host was very responsive to anything we needed. He also gave great local tips and information.I cannot say enough positive things about this home and listing.

Heaven at Hilltop

It is just a short distance away from Palm Canyon in the South of Palm Springs and you are alone with the enchanting nature right on the side of the mountain. The sunrise in the morning to the lights in the evening and all from your own terrace with a beautiful pool and hot tub that is so nicely and tasteful embedded in the rocks. The house is a stunner, architecturally in terms of the remodeling and ultimately also in terms of the host, Chris, who, with his friendliness and immediate availability, made the already very nice stay completely friction-free. A must-visit place on the bucket list. We will also visit again

Excellent place to stay

It’s all true. Great place to stay. Very private pool area. Huge glass walls open up the the entire pool and spa area. Hosts are excellent. Good communication. Check in was wonderful and easy. Recommend spending the time learning all about the house and controls. It takes time but worth it - and you still won’t remember everything. But the hosts are a text or call away. Highly recommend and if we ever return to Palm Springs, we will stay again.

Will Extend Our Stay Next Year

The property is spectacular, perched at the very top of Cahuilla Hills, affording views all the way south to Palm Canyon, across the Coachella to the west and north to downtown Palm Springs. It is totally silent up here, the only sounds coming from abundant wildlife and the occasional whisper of a breeze. Neither car nor horn could be heard. The house sits at the base of marvelous hiking trails through the hills north to downtown and south to Palm Canyon. Food shopping and dining are minutes away. The only problem is that once you're here, you won't want to leave for anything. So we "DoorDashed" or "UberAte" whenever we wanted something. The house has been totally remodeled and tastefully modern in every respect. The king beds are heavenly comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean and easy to maintain during our three-week stay. The smart TV was simple to operate and allowed us to feel as if we were in our own home. Outdoor space was out of this world and into a fantasy of gorgeous stone patio surrounding an absolutely glorious swimming pool and spa. Yard and pool maintenance workers slaved to keep everything in tip-top shape. For those, like my wife, who aren't sun worshippers, there is adequate shelter from the sun's rays and plenty of battery-charging sun space for folks like me. Our host Chris was available to answer questions at the touch of my phone and responses by service staff were instantaneous. Each day he called to make sure we were happy.

Peaceful and scenic

We'll be back

We love visiting the PS area when we can, and this house is our favorite that we've found. The privacy and comfort are top notch. The house is clearly well cared-for. Chris was, as the other reviews say, very attentive and easy to interact with. It was a bonus, while lounging by the pool, getting to look out toward Bob Hope's house on the hill :) The blue landscape lights casting down on the rocks in the evening are a great touch. Hiking was great too. We really have no complaints - it's just a beautiful home with a beautiful, private view.
