This Midcentury Executive Vacation Home has undergone a meticulous transformation, blending retro-chic charm with modern-day luxuries designed for today’s lifestyle. A gorgeous new kitchen, deluxe baths, upgraded climate control, high-speed internet, four flat-screen televisions, comfortable Mid Mod-inspired furnishings, and fabulous sleeping quarters ensure every moment feels elevated. One step inside and you’ll know you made the right choice.

OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES
While the interior is absolutely gorgeous, the private pool yard and magnificent mountain views are the true showstoppers. This yard is beautifully landscaped with thoughtfully designed areas for group time as well as quiet nooks for curling up with a book.

At the center is the heated inground pool with integrated spa. A gas-plumbed barbecue (no tank refills needed), poolside chaise loungers, outdoor living pavilion, occasional seating, fire feature, shade umbrellas, and mature plantings all infuse this home with the legendary essence of a Palm Springs desert oasis.

** The pool will be heated upon request with an additional service fee. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival. If you home has a spa or hot tub, heating the spa is included with your rental at no extra cost **

SLEEPING QUARTERS
All three bedrooms offer the feel of an upscale boutique hotel, each with a hospitality-quality king bed, smart TV, and ample storage.

The glamorous primary bedroom, accented with pops of blue, includes a work desk, sliding door access to the pool, and a designer ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom is bright and spacious with playful orange décor and a premium bed for exceptional sleep. The stylish third bedroom also features a king bed and a large glass door opening directly to the pool area.

A PART OF PALM SPRINGS HISTORY
This section of the Movie Colony was originally part of the custom-designed Caballeros Estates developed by Roy Fey, one of Palm Springs’ most prolific builders. This home was built in 1960, one of “27 individually styled homes” by architects Wexler and Harrison, as highlighted in a 1959 Desert Sun advertisement.

Stylish and comfortable house in a great location

We stayed at the house for a long weekend in January and found everything to be exactly as we needed. The home is spacious, well equipped and stylish. Beds were comfortable and rooms had plenty of closet space. We loved the outdoor fire pit and the indoor fireplace. Check-in was easy and the property management company was so helpful when we had questions or needed assistance. Best of all, it was an easy walk to the main shopping/dining areas in town! We would absolutely stay here again.

Fantastic family vacation

The house and location were perfect for our family of four. We loved the pool and hot tub, and enjoyed using the grill and outdoor space. The view is fantastic, and proximity to town is really nice. The big king beds are also super comfy! We had a few issues with the internet and pool temp when we arrived, but we were able to call Acme who helped us fix it quickly.

Had a great time

Really enjoyed staying at the house and the team were very helpful. The house has everything you could need for your stay, thoroughly recommend it. Only marginal downside is that the AC wasn’t quite as cold as we wanted but it wouldn’t stop up staying again. Thanks ACME.

Fantastic stay!

I was celebrating my 45th birthday and wanted to find a beautiful home for a relaxing week away. This was perfect! The backyard with pool, firepit, and views was beautiful and we spent a lot of time outside. The home itself was well-appointed and we didn’t have any issues. We like to cook so we wish there were more tools and pots/pans for that amazing stove. But we will absolutely be back. I would definitely recommend this house and the property management.

The house was very attractive although we were not crazy about the concrete floors. Pool and outside areas were fantastic!!! ACME was very helpful and professional. Came the same day for some lightbulbs that were out and because we couldn’t figure out how to use the air conditioning. We sustained an injury while there and they were so helpful! We are planning on renting a bigger house with friends later in the year.

Lots or miss match and incomplete sets of things- Pillows were also terrible (some overstuffed)

Palm Springs Stay

Great house, great view, great location. Only thing was an ant problem that wasn’t taken care of by the cleaning crew before we arrived. The guest bathroom was covered with ants dead and alive. They were everywhere, shower, sink, toilet, walls, and floor.

Home well maintained and Acme House Company was quick to respond when needed during our one month stay. WiFi was a problem until they disconnected Acme router. There is street noise but only noticeable when on patio. Pool and spa very nice. Beautiful walled yard with citrus trees. New Weber 3 burner natural gas grill. We didnt like the always on pilot lights on the stove. Dangerous if you set anything on it and one guest was burned when they grabed a pan accidently left on burner. Beds very comfortable. I was very impressed with Acme and most liklly will deal direct with them next year as opposed to Homeaway or Air B&B. Their phone staff and techs sent for different things were great.

Movie Colony Palms

We had a great time and the property managers were very responsive. We had trouble with the internet which was not working and then the television situation was not working most of the time, but otherwise we had a great time. The property is located on a very busy street but otherwise great location. Also, the stove required the exhaust fan to be on 24/7 which was loud and a bit annoying. Limited supplies in the kitchen, no coffee and minimal soap supplies, etc. sparse as compared to a hotel for sure. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location

We spent 8 days at this lovely property, soaking in the pool and staring at the mountains! Perfect location, close to downtown and all the great restaurants. This was more than spacious for our family of 4.

Beautiful Mid-Centry Modern

We had a lovely stay in the desert. The home itself is stunning - every bit as impressive in person as it is in the pictures. There was a bit of a communications snafu about check-in procedures, but Acme was willing to accomodate, and everything was taken care of! In all, I would highly recommend this home - the pool, the yard, the living spaces are all absolutely wonderful!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed spending time in this home. The home was immaculately clean, the pool was large and the yard was full of beautiful and fragrant citrus trees (grapefruit, orange and lemon) All bedrooms are large and well equipped with very comfortable mattresses and crisp linens. You'll enjoy waking up to panoramic mountain views from two of the bedrooms - and all bedrooms have direct access to the yard which is a real bonus when coming in from the pool - there is also a convenient outdoor shower. We were met at the home by a professional concierge who gave us a full tour of the home and showed us how things operated. While in the home we had one small issue but Acme was quick to address it in a very professional and expeditious manner. We had a wonderful time and will be return guests next year.
