Nice to be within walking distance to shops and restaurants as well as art museum. Pool was a very nice feature. Very clean room. Kitchen is good for warming up food but not quite equipped for cooking meals. But who wants to cook on vacation? I would stay here again.

Location Location Location. Just a block or two from the main downtown strip. Just about every restaurant is dog friendly with outdoor tables. The place is tiny (as expected) but enough room in the kitchen for a kennel for our pup. Extra 50/night for the pet; I missed it on registration process...just know.

Wonderful place to stay! So close to downtown PS. Peaceful and private. Shower is a very tight squeeze, but once you get in, it’s okay. Bed was a bit uncomfortable…. But overall we were very happy with staying here, and will definitely stay again in the future. We really loved it.

Just what we were looking for!

The highlights we experienced tell it all. The apartment is in the middle of a lovely area -the historic tennis district of Palm Springs. the bedroom is spacious, and you are within easy walking distance to excellent stores and restaurants. The bathroom is a bit small but with plenty of drawer space. It is clean with an ample supply of nice bath and hand towels plus wash cloths. The bed is comfortable with good quality linen and blankets. We greatly enjoyed having lunch wine/coffee by the pool while enjoying the mountain view. We would certainly stay there again. *Location, location, location...

We were pleasantly surprised at how lovely and CLEAN our unit was at Desert House. The location cannot be beat...it's literally a few minute walk to some of the best restaurants, stores and attractions in Palm Springs. It's also a hop, skip and a jump to a grocery store, liquor store and bike rental shop. AWESOME location. The pool faces West, so you get the best sunning at the perfect time of day, plus you get a spectacular view of the San Jacinto mountains. The room itself was like a small bachelor apartment which granted us all the amenities of being in a home. We cooked breakfast every morning, had snacks for lunch and ate dinner out nightly. There is also a BBQ there, so you could BBQ if you really wanted to, but we liked the idea of going out for dinners. The pool was a lovely temperature. The only thing that held me back from making it a 5 star was the lack of lawn chairs (only 4 with 6 units) and the shape of the outdoor furniture...it's old and tired and falling apart. But that wouldn't prevent me from staying here again. The communication with our host Cole was 10/10...from the time I booked to the time we go there. I didn't once feel like I was left in the dark. The instructions on how to access the property and our unit was detailed and easy. Natalia lives on site, which is also nice in case we needed anything...which we didn't. Diego is the official welcome doggo...he's super adorable and happy. Overall, our stay was fabulous. Would highly recommend. :)
