"What at first seems like a no frills hotel will delight you. Located on a small street that feeds into an ideal location a stone’s throw from the duomo and selfie heaven of you’re into that. The staff is courteous and efficient. The room itself is spartan. But it was meticulously clean and the hot water in the shower is infinite. Breakfast is more than just bread and cheese. When I had to stay up for a call on US pacific time business hours, the staff supplied me with bottomless excellent coffee and refused to charge me. "
"The breakfast was typical, nothing special, those coffee machines should be banned in all of italy! Unfortunately, all hotels are now using them, the coffee is horrible, it's italy, the coffee should be an experience! "
"The hotel is on a fairly large and safe street. The room was very quiet, facing inner yard and with soundproof windows, we booked a hypoallergenic room and it had a wood-like laminate floor that was spotless, comfy beds, and very efficient and quiet air conditioning. I had my best sleep in this trip. The breakfast had a really tasty smoked salmon, selection of meats and cheeses, and of course a large selection of pastries. There are no usb ports for phone charging in the room but a very nice guy at the front desk found a converter to european plug for us. The only small challenge was that rooms have the actual keys rather than key cards. Might be a bit challenging for someone with arthritis but feels like a safer option for everyone else."
"
The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful. It was more of a 30 minute walk to shopping, not 13 minutes. Restaurants nearby were fair and the nicer ones were about a 20 minute walk. Our room was wonderful and loved the balcony. We did not use the amenities or the hotel restaurant."
