The owners were friendly and very accommodating - providing recommendations for dinner and things to do. "Got a room on 9th floor and it was modern, airy, spacious, quiet, and clean. Above average for what I paid. Comfortable bed. Nice having a little fridge in the room as well.
Hotel location worked out perfectly for me. Close enough to walk to Guggenheim, museum, Old Town, but not so close to tourist sites that prices are high. Many cafes, grocery stores, and other useful services right in the neighbourhood. Not knowing Bilbao when I booked, this ended up being the perfect location for me to explore the town and avoid most of the tourist congestion. Would definitely choose to stay here again. Only caution is that it’s near the football stadium, so if there’s a match on it can get very busy (and noisy) in the area."
