"This hotel is horribly run. I reserved 2 nights on Expedia only to get there and the hotel staff to tell me they had no record of my booking. The room had not been cleaned or readied for guests because they were not expecting a guest. I had to call the owner who supposedly lives in Austria, made an international call for that and he was very dismissive of the situation and offered no help. "Staff and management were friendly and courteous and went the extra mile to ensure that we had a very good experience. Original room allocation was on the 2nd floor but they were able to move us to a ground floor room. Kojo and the rest of the staff were helpful in recommending places to visit and getting quotes for transfer to Elmina and arranging for someone to come to the hotel to do currency exchange. The room we were in was limited in the number of power outlets but someone got us an extension lead. Thank you to everyone at Asantewaa for making our stay an enjoyable one,"
