Good location and price. Policy stated that on check in you would need to pay a bond of $300 unless you had a valid credit card. When I checked in I was advised that the policy had changed and I needed to pay $300 even though I had a valid credit card (the one the motel was paid for on). I emailed querying this on the first night and was ignored. $300 if a big unexpected expense for families travelling. The beds were rock hard, I actually would have been better off sleeping on the floor. Locks didn’t work and there was a faulty electrical socket in the hall outside our room, very dangerous with a 2 year old hanging around. I sent 3x emails to them and have still not had a response. Rainbows end got my bond back to me quicker than this place

Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful clean and tidy room. gorgeous country views, fully enjoyed the "special attention" from our hosts. The meals and service were amazing. Chef "Stewart" cooked beyond perfection! The spa pool was very nice and relaxing. We enjoyed the 5 km trail walk around the property. A very calm, relaxing and safe feeling at this lodge. A highly recommend quiet retreat! Thank you for making our stay so memorable.
