"Good quiet stay at the Kingsgate over Easter 2025. We missed the rains, but we could see the effects of it around the place. I still enjoyed my stay and friendly staff there."

"This motel is very nice, comfortable, has everything you need. Even a continental breakfast for $19.00 NZ dollars choices of cereal, toast, spreads, fresh and tinned fruit, fresh crossants,tea,coffee . Amazing owners and staff, i had a studio unit and it was roomy comfortable, clean,tidy, tv. Close to shops, eateries and tours all in a 15 minute walk. I will go back.."

"The place was nice. Facilities very tidy and comfortable. Pool was a dream for us and the kid. Unfortunately there was no good communication about where to park at the beginning. As it is not marked properly, there was none available at night when coming back, so had to park off the street. When calling in the morning to reception nobody answered."

"This property was walking distance (10-15min) to the main town centre and eateries while being away from the hustle and bustle that comes with most town centres. The staff of the property, Angela, Stacey and Keri, were extremely friendly and welcoming, without being too forward. They were happy to guide us with good recommendations, and assisted us with booking some of the tours we were looking to do. In short, this was a great find and we'll return to Admiral's View Lodge with friends and family soon."
