  • We took a 5 day rafting trip down the San Juan. Our second camp site at Hanaker had an amazing hike up the canyon wall to a look out over the river and canyon. Very hot hike, but the views were amazing. If I did this one again, I would probably go in the morning. The raft trip itself is pretty easy, only one Class III rapid. Excellent experience from the second we stepped inside! All the amenities and comfort one could ask for. So much more spacious than the pictures show and right in the heart of Pagosa Springs. A minutes walk from great food, entertainment and natural hot springs! A welcome gift was the cherry on top. Doesn't get any better than this!
