We booked this cabin for a family get-away with 5 adults and a toddler. Loved being out in the country, yet close enough to drive to Pagosa in just a few minutes. The place had a rustic feel, with lots of space...great for gathering together but also plenty of room to give everyone their privacy. Very clean with super comfy beds. And we all loved the hot tub on the deck. We ended up cooking every day, and the kitchen was well-stocked. Communication with the hosts was excellent, too!
Great place to stay, lots of room for privacy and a great view of the mountains.

Nice quiet secluded cabin, but still close to town. great views, no wifi trouble. Super easy for a stay with a dog. Cabin was very comfortable. We did not need the AC. House is nice but in need of general upkeep. Nicer deck furniture is needed.
The property is conveniently located to downtown Pagosa. Large lot with a lot of space to spread out (bring your binoculars), walk, relax outside or soak in the clean hot tub.The exterior of the house could use some spider web removal etc. and the weeds need to be trimmed back so driveway is easier to navigate. We spent most of our time outside which is why we rented the property on 3 acres. Sleeping pillows are nice and fluffy. Internet was functional (no problems) but cellular reception (Verizon) was spotty. We did not cook or use the kitchen much. Refrigerator should be replaced in the near future but it was fine for our basics needs. We would consider staying here again. Be aware the of potential electrical hazard near the hot tub. Party lights are strung near the hot tub & not secured to trees. We unplugged them for safety reasons (water and electricity don’t mix). There is NO recycling.
This home is very well appointed however not so much for a warm to hot weather vacation(temps in the day reached 88-90 degrees). The house was extremely hot upon check in- the HVAC unit was turned OFF. Our check in time was not until 4pm so you would think knowing that someone was checking in that they would have turned the AC to on. This is a 2-story house so to cool off a house that size was going to take time. Well the AC unit froze up and then completely didn't work. Yes, we opened up every single window/slider but there was zero breeze so needless to say it was a very hot, sweaty night-everyone was absolutely miserable (5 people, one pregnant, 2 dogs). Note-the upstairs master has a small balcony with a slider however there was no screen door! HVAC was fixed the next day & the house cooled down except for the upstairs. So if you are coming during the summer and you are counting on using the upstairs bedroom NO COOL AIR reaches there. This house should really think about putting in another unit or getting a mini split because it was not usable. No refund was given for the first night which was very disappointing.
Great house. Big, clean and well-stocked. Internet worked fine for remote work. Located in a nice, quiet area and convenient to quickly get into town. Would definitely stay here again.
