The Mossy Moose Cabin was absolutely perfect! It offered the best value for the price—cozy, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. TMC Vacation Rentals made the experience seamless, and they were easy to contact whenever we had questions.
Great little cabin, in a great location, at a great price. Bathtub was a major driving factor for staying this unit, but the jets didn’t work. Property management was not responsive with regards to this issue.
Cute little place. Worked great for a couple days of visiting Mt Rainier. It’s a bit hot upstairs, but they have plenty of fans. It’s dated, and could definitely use a screen on the sliding door to enjoy more air and the back porch. But, overall great location for what we needed. There is no service for T-Mobile and Att, btw. But they do have wifi. Very cute neighborhood. Grocery nearby (super expensive for some things like Turkey bacon was 11!) some restaurants. Great little town.
We stayed at Mossy Moose for the ideal place to access both the Paradise and Sunrise sections of Mt Rainier. The property was well maintained, very easy check in instructions and very cosy. The communication from the hosts was fantastic. Highly recommend this property for any getaway, especially to explore the wonderful Mt Rainier.
The cabin is nice with easy access to the hwy. Drive way is very narrow but manageable. There were places that hadn't been cleaned or dusted in a long time i.e. the top of the fridge and there were streak marks in the toilet. Over all it is a nice cabin and met our needs well.
This is one of the cleanest houses I've ever rented and the floorplan is excellent--two full bathrooms accessible without going through a bedroom and the two sleeping areas are separated for privacy....one of them is upstairs. The neighborhood is very quiet and houses are arranged for maximum privacy in a heavily wooded area. The kitchen is well-stocked with a full set of dishes appropriately moose-themed.
Cozy little cabin close to White Pass & Mt Rainier. Nothing fancy and could use some updates/fixes (cabinets in kitchen are peeling in places, jacuzzi jets in bathtub don’t work, electric fireplace is a flickering lightbulb on an extension cord behind the fake logs, grill fills with water when it rains, etc…) but nothing major and still a lovely, cozy little retreat for a few nights.
Great value and location for visiting Rainier and nearby parks. Short driving distance into town with grocery store and delicious thai food truck and burger place.Host was very responsive and provided detailed instructions for check in and check out. We slept comfortably. The home is on the older side, but it had everything we needed for cooking, sleeping, working remotely, and had bathroom amenities. There was no ac, we opened the windows at night and slept comfortably since it cools down quite a bit. The downstairs bathroom does not have a shower, only a bathtub. Wifi was pretty stable throughout our stay. Take note that since this cabin is in the woods, there are many bugs attracted to the outside lights at night and several bugs inside the home.
The house is in a great location for skiing. The main floor has a campfire odor that does not Dissipate. Despite having windows open, it did not change. Have no idea what was causing it, electric fireplace was not the source. The driveway is also a bit tricky.
