Check-in was very straightforward and easy, the property was beautiful cozy and clean, and the location was unbeatable! We felt supported throughout our stay and definitely hope to return :)
This cabin had everything we needed! The best informational book we've seen where they listed restaurants, places to go, and hiking spots. It was a well maintained cabin that was so cozy! 10 out of 10!
Great home base to explore the eastern side of Mt. Rainier.
The beds are wonderful!

Excellent location although a bit surprising with the "lights" from the 24 hour gas station nearby. loved the patio, hot tub and spacious accomodations. Perfect for our quick family intro to Mt. Rainier
The house was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked and the beds were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and viewing the elk from our window. We hiked at Mount Rainier and it was a bit of a drive to places we wanted to hike- maybe 45-60 minutes. The location of the house was easy to find and the wifi worked well.
Cabin was easily accessible from Packwood. Nice view. Cabin was well stocked. We were so pleased with the accommodations and would stay there again. LeeAnn in the office was very helpful. Thank you.
Lovely stay- home is beautiful and not too far away from Mount Rainier. Beds were comfy, well functioning kitchen, tv with ability to stream. Main table slightly sticky. Saw lots of Elk nearby and in town. Recommend bringing food/snacks since town is quite small and/or getting burgers from Cliff Droppers & an ale from Packwood Brewery.
Pros:
- short drive to the bars/restaurants in Packwood
- scenic view from large back porch
- private hot tub close to house
Cons:
- hard to find house address. the number is not very visible on the rock by the driveway
- while overall the house was clean, the dining table top is sticky
Everything was easy about the stay: check in, the kitchen, working the TV, laundry, the hot tub, and beyond! Beds were very comfortable with wonderful pillows. The view to the south is glorious, especially in the morning. Just a wonderful winter haven for our group of 4.
The cabin has a great view and really clean. Loved the hot tub set up. Very comfortable furniture and bedding! Had everything we needed and responsive management when we had questions. Definitely a great spot!
The cabin location is excellent with lovely view of town.
Bryan the property manager was great with communication and very responsive. The cabin location is perfect. The kitchen is well equipped. Rec confirming sleeping arrangements (# of beds) and supply of towels before you arrive.
Elk Ridge was a lovely property, very comfortable. The view from the deck was fabulous. The cabin was exceptionally clean, a real credit to the cleaning team. It is an ideal location for visiting Mt Rainier National Park and the surrounding area. We had one or two queries, which the property manager responded to quickly. They have also arranged for some items that we left to be posted back to England, which we are very grateful for.We would not hesitate to stay there again if we are visiting the area.
Pros: location, jacuzzi, beautiful views, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and furniture.
Cons: Property management is slow to respond to missing items or requests compared to other vacation rental properties that we had stayed at.
