"Loved being so close to la punta without being right in the noise of it. All the coolest hippie spots within a short walk and about 15 minutes to La Punta playa. First of all the microbús from Oaxaca Zicatela stop is so close so that was nice at night to just walk up no taxi or camión required. The beaches are a little ways away but very fun to explore on foot or by bike. It got fairly cool at night in December and I slept comfortably in the cabins. "Pros: Great location, clean hotel and room, good parking, friendly staff, secure, great for a place to just sleep and great price (about 40/night for 3 beds). Staff is accomodating and provided a fan due to broken ceiling fan. Great wifi, good cell signal, nice common area to relax and have a few drinks, steps to the beach, quiet area. Hostel had amenities such as outdoor courtyard, ping pong table, mini computer lab and outdoor seats with free breakfast cooked by one of the staff members. Convenient location as it is within walking distance to many shops, restaurants and bars. Only downside was showers didn’t dispense water well and need a little maintenance and renovation. Overall a good experience. "

"Very central, rooms are huge, modern space with shared kitchen and coworking space. It s a very loud courtyard and the bar plays music loud. Things get quiet after 11pm so just don’t expect quiet before that. Breakfast is great!"

"Low key, no frills hostel in PV. Not the most social hostel I have stayed at. But I did travel at a quiet time. Nice to have your own pod for your bed with a curtain and walls for each bed. Hostel Staff allowd me to keep my bag there before check-in and after check-out. Located in the art walk area with many beautiful pieces of art very close. Cheap, close to the beach"

"The stay was almost perfect. We had one very bad experience with the sales rep for their time share. They really pressured us to go to the presentation to offer a free massage and made it clear we were not interested in the time share. Long story short the sales guy got super angry and started yelling in our faces and did not give what was promised. Never been treated in such a horrible way at any property for any reason.
