"A little piece of heaven. Everything was as described and pictured. With a couple extra surprises like a sauna and two fishing poles (they even gave us some bait to use!) and a guitar to borrow. We rented paddle boards and kayaks from the owners adorable and enterprising kiddos. Our week here could not have gone smoother. The owners were attentive and friendly and really super nice people! We felt like neighbors not just visitors. The house is large and well appointed with plenty of towels, dishes and even some thoughtful items that you may have forgotten. They really care about their home, their neighborhood and their visitors. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!"

"The room was clean and well kept. We received several calls after our reservation to confirm if we were bringing a pet and needed a pet friendly room or if we were okay with stairs or not. The area surrounding the property was nice with pine trees and very walkable. The tram to the summit is close by. The location is quiet. We enjoyed our stay."

"We were a party of 6 adults. Plenty of room in the home. Nice to have 3 bathrooms. Beautiful view of the lake. Comfortable space inside and out. Nice to have the dock to fish from. Plenty of dishes and silverware. Lacked in coffee cups. Overall, the home is a very nice place to stay. Not a fan of the cameras outside but understand. Tips for owner... only 5 dining table chairs, one of which was unusable. We brought in outdoor chairs to accommodate for card playing. Might upgrade toaster to 4 slice toaster. We used the broiler which worked well. Coffee pot could use cleaning. Extra blankets would be good. We used the comforter from the twin because it was not in use. The sliders need a little maintenance as they were pretty difficult to open. Soap for all bathrooms would be good along with garbage cans. Curtains for the downstairs neighboring windows would be good too."

"This property absolutely lived up to its promise. The owners truly thought of everything — even toiletries were provided in each bathroom. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked, and the property itself was simply gorgeous.Some of the best fishing on Wallowa Lake was right off the private dock, which made the experience even more special. The area was peaceful and quiet, yet only a short drive to downtown Joseph. Morning coffee on the deck with those beautiful lake and mountain views was hard to beat.There was ample parking, great Wi-Fi, and overall it was just a wonderful escape that was well worth the money. As Arnie once said… “I’ll be back.”"

"The pictures were appealing and l looked forward to staying at this unit based on the pictures, but it looked totally different once we actually got to the location. I was unsure if it was the correct location, but according to the guides used, it kept bringing us back to the same location and there was no key entry on the door. After 2 hours trying to locate the location, we found it to be spooky plus no lights and like I mentioned, no key entry. A lot of time was wasted trying to find the place in the wooded area and once we could not enter the house, we left and had to pay for another place to stay."
