"I have to say that the Island View Inn was the cleanest, and best maintained hotel we stayed in during our recent week long trip to Maine. The view was great, the quality of the hotel is just a step above any other from that trip. I Can't compare it to others in the Rockland area, since we didn't stay in others, but compared to other locations in Maine, the quality and value was a level above those in similar or even higher price range. Thank you for the wonderful stay!"

"Walked 3 minutes to Main Street from property. We just parked my car in the property, walk to town for food and shopping. Have nice space in the room. Staff is very friendly and helpful."

"Everyone was so friendly from the moment we checked in until we checked out. We were only there one evening wish we could have stayed longer beautiful grounds with chairs to sit outside and relax. The room was so clean and the bed and pillows were the best so comfortable!"

"This was the quintessential country inn that you would expect to see in Maine! Front desk staff were friendly, helpful. The rooms were great. They had a larger suite in the hotel and then also had cabins out back. Outside of the breakfast area (which breakfast was great each day), they had a nice patio area with an electric start fire pit and a nice playground for the kiddos. If you're in the area, check out this place. You won't be disappointed. Had a nice pool and hot tub, too, which was very nice!"
