It is a very grand hotel and we loved our big king room, overlooking the racecourse! We dinned in the restaurant, with the food being lovely! Fairly priced, good portions, and range of food on the menu! The hotel needs patronage - it is a diamond amongst many hotels to choose from. We will stay there again!

My room was on ground level and accessed from outside the building. It felt very safe. The room was beautiful and bed very comfortable. There was a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was modern and spotless.
Great location as you can walk everywhere. I went to Fat Cat café for breakfast which is a great spot.

The customer service was excellent. The room was what we needed. The only problem was in the bathroom. It looked like towel holders may have been removed but there was mould coming through. The maintenance may not have been completed and was still work in progress. The staff are really lovely.

Absolutely perfect weekend. Room was clean, bed was comfy and the spa bath was heaven. Great location as well, not too far away from everything but just far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. Will definitely stay here again.
