A bit run down rooms, but convenient location near Sauble beach. Rooms were clean and a kitchenette was useful. Very nice amenities on the hotel property on the river. Suggest extending the hours to rent the boats and kayaks, guests might use them early morning or late day, as people are at the beach usually when you have the rentals open and you are closed when people would be most of the time at the hotel and could rent.

This was a nice accommodating property. 15 min drive to the main Sauble Beach and a 10 min walk to the North Sauble Beach. Things to do in the area as well as free paddle boats etc on property.

Clean and well maintained property. Located on the beautiful Sauble River. Activities are included. Property is located a short distance to the falls and the beach. We had the Happy Days suite which is perfect for 2 adults + 2 kids. Will visit again.

Great stay overall. The room was clean and well maintained. The location is excellent right by the water with nice views and a peaceful atmosphere. Wi-Fi was decent and reliable for basic use. There are shops and essentials nearby, which made things convenient.

Property was amazing. The owners were so nice to talk to. They even called and checked in on our arrival time as we were running late. Very considerate. Check in was smooth and fast. The lady ( i am bad with names) explained everything in detail. We did not know kayaks are complimentary with the stay so we went up to the water fall, had a dip and back. It was amazing. The only thing I want to highlight is that this property DO NOT have EV charging. Internet, expedia etc says they have but they don't.

Was a great stay our family enjoyed the use of the free water toys such as paddle boats paddleboards....the dock for swimming in the river...the patio soace and firepit was great...and watching the wildlife on the river daily. Was close to beaches ect.

Beautiful River front Room

Super easy check in and the staff was friendly. The room was clean and had an amazing view of the river. We spent a lot of time relaxing and watching the geese, swans and even an otter in the river. Great place highly recommend!

The rooms are simple and very clean. We had a ground floor room facing the river. Outstanding! Lovely seating areas to watch the wildlife on the river. We saw a beaver, muskrat, mallards, wood ducks, blue jays, geese, crows,etc. A short drive into town for food or to the beach (gorgeous). The room had a shower/bathtub combo, DVD player, live TV, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and a kettle. Free wifi. We would definitely book again!

Delightful spot

We appreciated the locale, on the shore of a river filled with wildlife. We saw mink, beaver, various water birds, an eagle, and so on. The room was clean but a bit challenging for us, with one step up to the sink, another to the toilet. The tub has no grab-bars, the "Betty Crocker" drip coffee pot was hard to manage. Given the modest cost, we would certainly recommend it to other visitors.
