Located in Bison Ranch, this LOTR themed cabin is in an ideal, peaceful location. It is close to local attractions and stores, yet secluded enough to make it the perfect base station for quiet & relaxation! BRAND NEW hot tub just installed! Cabin has a large back deck for enjoying the fresh mountain air. The vaulted ceilings make it feel spacious and open. Two bathrooms provide that extra convenience when traveling with two couples or a whole family. Don't wait, book the Prancing Pony cabin today! *Small pet fee required for up to 3 pets.

***Weather advisory*** In winter months, guests are highly encouraged to purchase travel insurance. Major winter storms can roll in unexpectedly and cause delays or road closures that may make it difficult or impossible to reach the cabin. Reservations are non-refundable after a certain time and guests’ book at their own risk.

***Illness advisory*** Unexpected illness is the #1 reason why guests cancel their reservation. We DO NOT refund if guests decide to cancel because of illness. Prancing Pony is a total package—a completely stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, a wood burning fireplace, a large back porch with rocking chairs, grill and propane fire pit, and best of all, wonderfully responsive owners.

Awesome cabin in a quiet community

We really enjoyed our stay at the Prancing Pony! Very cozy with all the amenities! We used the bbq grill and jacuzzi and they were great! The only issue we had was that we prefer firmer beds. Both beds were very soft. Loved the location as well! Great property!

Delightful Cabin

My husband and I had a stress free weekend here! Check in and out was very easy. The cabin was exceptionally clean and at a perfect temperature when we arrived. The community is nice an quiet and the neighbors were friendly. It is located far enough away from the bustle of Hwy 260, yet close enough for a quick ride to restaurants and shopping. We highly recommend a staying here!

A Cozy Mountain Escape

The Prancing Pony was meant to be a base location for a quick trip to the mountains to hike and explore, but winter weather quickly disrupted our plans and instead we enjoyed a time of unforced relaxation. The cabin was equipped with a number of surprises, such as logs to build a fire and tons of soft, cozy blankets to keep warm. My kids found the vhs "antique" Disney movies, toys, and games to be a perfect substitute. The host was easy to communicate with and checked in on us. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Prancing Pony.

Amazing cabin

This was the best rental I’ve stayed at. The cabin was beautiful inside and out. Immaculately cleaned and enough of anything you would need. Many extra touches and thoughtful things like toys for kids, dvd/vhs movies, dog dishes and bed, mints on nightstands, etc. TV’s in all rooms with easy to use Roku remote. Check in and out was so easy. The area is beautiful with lots of wildlife to watch from the huge patio out back. I would definitely rent this cabin in the future.

Relaxation and Solitude at Prancing Pony

Prancing Pony is a fabulous cabin. The nights and mornings on the back porch were quiet. The whole community was peaceful and dark sky allowed us to gaze at the stars. Hot tub was very enjoyable in the cool evening or early morning. The cabin had plenty of space to relax in, the AC kept us cool during the days that got warm. Amenities were great from TV, videos, Wi-Fi, kitchen appliances and cooking utensils. Bed was comfortable as were the sofas. Kaydee was very responsive and accommodating. My girlfriend is already looking to book for a girls weekend. We will definitely stay here again.
