"Cabin was clean and lovely. The setting is beautiful along the creek. I would note that there is no firewood available to use for the fire pit or the indoor fireplace. Also, the grill is a Weber and there is no charcoal available. Be prepared and bring your own."

"My wife and I decided to get away for a little while and escape the hustle of everyday life. I’m so thankful we chose this place.One thing I absolutely wasn’t expecting was how well we slept! I’m naturally an early riser. Even on weekends, 6:00 AM is pretty normal for me. Well, imagine my surprise when I rolled over that first morning, looked at the clock, and saw 9:30 AM! I honestly couldn’t believe it, and the crazy part is I could have slept even longer.They did a fantastic job with the blackout curtains, but I think what really makes this place special is the natural tree cover. It creates such a peaceful, quiet, and dark environment that you almost forget the outside world exists. Just be prepared to oversleep a little as the stress melts away.Another thing I appreciated was how much thought the owners put into the cabin. There are little notes and helpful messages throughout the property. I got the impression that they’ve learned a few things along the way and genuinely want their guests to have the best experience possible. It’s those little details that make a difference.As far as privacy goes, you can see neighboring cabins, but there are large privacy fences on both sides that do a great job of blocking most of the views. We never felt like we were on display.If you’re looking for a place to slow down, disconnect, and just enjoy some peace and quiet with beautiful water just steps away, this is it.We came here hoping to relax for a few days, and that’s e"

"Stayed 3 nights on a mini anniversary trip to the area. Easy to find, clean camper, and nice outdoor scenery. We enjoyed watching the deer grazing every afternoon right out of the camper windows. Saw the Blue Ridge Train go by in the afternoons. The bathhouse was a big plus as it was nice to have a full size bathroom/shower because we did not use the camper shower. Overall great stay and would stay again if we ever come back through the area."
