Villa El Pilar with private heated pool
10/10 Excellent
"Gorgeous stay at this lovely villa. The pool was perfect size with stunning views over to Salobrena castle and the sea. 10 min drive into the main area and beach lots of nice restaurants and places to get breakfast/ice creams. 1 hour 10 from Malaga Airport easy to get to. Supermarkets close by. Definitely need hire car. Nerja 30 min drive away. Kitchen really well equipped with everything you need to cook and loads of kids plates cups etc. Kids loved it and we have a baby who’s crawling was a bit of a worry on the hard floor but she was fine just put down cushions and lots of toys and kept doors closed! Great travel cot and high chair provided. Just bear in mind you do have to walk down a lot of steps to get to the pool from main villa but it does have a downstairs sitting area/bathroom and kitchen!Would definitely recommend -lovely place to stay for a week in the sun!"

"Très belle maison avec un jardin et une piscine à débordement avec une vue incroyable sur le château et la plage de Salobreña. La maison est tres bien équipée, tout est fait pour passer un agréable séjour. Seul bémol, la piscine etait tellement chaude qu'elle avait la plus grande peine a nous rafraîchir."
Luxury Villa With Spectacular Views! Private heated pool - hot tub!

"We absolutely loved our stay and had a perfect family holiday! The villa was clean, spacious and had stunning views. The pool was so much fun, and there were lots of areas to sit and relax, including plenty of shade. We also loved having a BBQ (just a heads up, it’s gas - we made the mistake of buying charcoal )We loved exploring the old town, with its cobbled streets, twists and turns, and gorgeous views from the old church.Our only thing to mention is that we found taxis almost impossible to get. One evening we walked into the old town, taking around an hour. It was fine for us as a couple, although part of the walk is along a dual carriageway. We couldn’t get a taxi back despite asking in bars and restaurants, so had to walk back. It was hard and hot, but no regrets, we just didn’t fancy doing it again We also tried another evening to get a taxi for a family meal but couldn’t, so stayed in. Maybe we were just unlucky and certainly didn't ruin our holiday but it’s worth knowing if travelling with young children or elderly relatives. A car made everything easy during the day. The listing says the beach is a 2 min drive, but it took us around 6 minutes just to get down the hill, so I’d allow 10–15 minutes, unless we missed something.The jacuzzi is amazing which the whole family enjoyed and a nice bonus!Overall, we loved the villa and had such a fantastic family holiday!"

"What a little gem . For a 2* hostal this place was excellent. Spotlessly clean . Beautiful decor throughout with many Andalucian tiled floors . Jose was very friendly and helpful. Underground parking for 11.50€ a day close by or free on street parking ( if you can find a spot) 20 min walk to the beach or the local bus costs 60 cents each Bathroom a little small but adequate air conditioning in bedroom and beds comfortable Would definitely stay here again. Deserves a 5 * review in my opinion for a hostal x"
