"The location of the property is great, and the direct beach access is definitely a big plus. However, I specifically stayed in room 213, and while the overall experience was okay, there were several issues. The unit did not have a microwave or a hair dryer, and the pans were in very poor condition, along with the rest of the kitchen. We actually had to buy a pan just to make ourselves breakfast. Additionally, the cleaning was not up to standard. After reading other reviews for different rooms, it seems like our unit may not reflect the overall quality of the property. I would recommend booking directly with the owner "

"The pool was closed (during spring break) for renovation. The hotel receives only a couple of guest passes for the neighboring pool but they're very hard to come by. However, the bigger problem was around the beach chairs/umbrellas. A separate company operates these, and there are only a few rows of chairs & umbrellas set up for rent. People apparently can reserve them in advance for extended days, but most of the time they were never used, and the company wouldn't allow anyone else to use them when they didn't show up. The cost was also not included in the hotel night fee, which is disappointing considering the pool was also out of use during this time. That would have been a reasonable accommodation to make to guests during this renovation period. There are chairs & an umbrella in each hotel room but carrying these down is not easy. This location is just confusing. The property itself has a lot of great potential, but they operate halfway between a private condo and a hotel -the front desk uses a small table instead of the large reception area, the staff is very nice but they're often moving around the property so it's hard to find someone at times. There is no convenience store or coffee shop in the lobby (and only the beach-side bar/restaurant which is open from around 11-4, and the main restaurant which is only open for dinner). "

"This property is well worth the stay. Only issue we had was untimely housekeeping with cleaning our room. They should consider an adult only pool area as well. Otherwise highly recommend."

"We vacationed with another family, so 2 couples and two 15 yr old girls. More than enough room for everyone, beautiful home, well appointed amenities and superb location! We loved fishing and kayaking right from the pier. We saw many iguanas, dolphins and manatee. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings, walks and bike rides through the neighborhood and simply relaxing ☺️ n this beautiful home. Grocery store, restaurants and beach were all a very close car ride. Communication was also great. We plan to visit again!"

"House appears to be for rental income only. Furniture is all leatherette material so easy to clean. Smoke detector kept chirping, had to remove twice. TV in master bedroom did not work, shower in master leaked unless you found exact position to stop. Memory foam bed in master needs to be replaced, hatd to get out of...felt like I sunk in too far. Other than that, placed served its purpose for 4 guys on a golf trip that had friends in the Marco/Naples area. Would book again if slightly updated."

"Ed and Anna are wonderful hosts. The house was so comfortable and well appointed. It was spotless. The pool was great and we so enjoyed the view across the canal. We watched osprey flying to and from their nests. The sunsets were beautiful. They have thought of everything that you might need on a vacation. There were pool toys for kiddos. There were beach chairs, umbrellas and a beach cart. We enjoyed it so much, we have booked it already for next year. It was so nice to have a garage to use. "

"Excellent location near beaches and local shopping with easy access to the Everglades for nature walks. We went on an easy trail walk about 20 minutes from the house and saw literally hundreds of birds. This is an absolutely perfect spot to see a ton of different animals and the kids loved it: burrowing owls, gopher tortoises, dolphins, manatees with the provided kayaks, and fish from the doc. The house itself was fantastic. There were 8 of us and we easily cooked dinner for the whole group and ate together at the massive kitchen island each night. The space was clean, light, and well suited for large groups. A member of our group said it was the first vacation rental that she would 100% return to, which is high praise given the amount she travels. All around a great trip that we look forward to repeating. "
