"Location, location, location. We were in otter rock for surfing and the house was a perfect short walk to the beach. The hot tub was great to warm up in after being in the ocean. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Debbie was great at communicating and answering questions. Would definitely come back. "

"Gorgeous location, Everything is very spread out so you must be up to lots of walking. Limited restaurant hours and no guest amenities in the lobby. A circuit blew so we lost power at 11:00pm. The pool has no changerooms or full showers or towels, and no robes are available so you have to walk soaking wet from pool to room. Pool itself is great. "

"The house and location were exactly what we were looking for: rustic, secluded, peaceful with just the sound of the surf, yet still close to everything we wanted to see. 2 minutes walk to the beach, 2 minutes to drive to the Devils Punch Bowl, 10 minutes drive North to Depoe Bay, 15 minute drive South to Yaquina Head Natural Area and NewPort. "We were able to book the room last minute for one night of a long weekend. The price for a beach stay was quite reasonable especially when you add in the amenities. The hot tub was for adults only which was nice, but the open hours of 10am-10pm made it difficult to visit in the morning with an 11am check out time. The facilities work, but are dated, despite how they come across in the pictures. Not an impact on us just different from the pictures, including the pictures of the room. We were in an end unit with both forest and beach views. It was a great location. The walls are super thin and we could hear every conversation, screaming child, and walking steps above us and next to us late into the evening. I eventually called the front desk and they said they would give the unit a ring and work it out. I should've called sooner. Every staff member we interacted with was nice and engaging. The bed is a little springy, but not the worst. I think we were just unlucky with our neighbors this trip. Overall, I would still consider staying here again as a budget friendly option for the coast."
