We had a very nice, large, twin bedroom facing Lake Biwa. The room had a couch seating area and was still large enough for us to comfortably keep to big suitcases open in the room and easily get around. Everything was exceptional. Did not use the communal spa because we had a private spa in the room with a beautiful view of the lake. Hotel had a shuttle to the train station.
