"Great hotel for visiting the Schwarzwaldhochstraße, and heading across the border to the Alsase region in France. We enjoyed the included breakfast to start off our day and had a nice dinner at the restaurant one evening. The staff was very friendly and multilingual and helped us with our limited Deutsch. The room was comfortable and thankfully well heated. Thanks to the management and staff for maintaining an historic hotel from the 1600s and keeping up with 21st century amenities. We look...

"Das Hotel ist nicht nur alt , sondern auch schrecklich. Das Schwimmbad usw. ist nicht zur Benutzung geeignet. Zimmer in einem furchtbaren Zustand. Das Personal war wenigstens freundlich! Mehr als 50 Euro pro Doppelzimmer mit Frühstück darf man nicht bezahlen. Also Fazit: Nie mehr dort übernachten. Gruß Stephan"

"Wonderful hotel in gorgeous hillside setting surrounded by vineyards just above the lovely town of Sasbachwalden. Booked hotel to be near Baden-Baden, but really didn't want to leave. The town has wonderful restaurants for dinners and the hotel breakfast was perfect. The enclosed pool is sparkling clean and looks over vineyards. There are showers and a sauna as well. The hotel is absolutley charming and the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in .... and that is saying a lot coming from the queen...
