"I have to say, everything about this stay was perfect from start to finish.Ease of booking, communication, and the lodge was stunning.We booked for investigation purposes which started as soon as we walked in, but I definitely took a little time for some much needed RR.I highly recommend this location.We will be returning real I soon."

"Stayed here on a recent visit to Gettysburg, traveling with our 10 year old granddaughter and our dog. There were so many nice touches and amenities, and the beds were very comfortable. Communicating with the owner was easy, and the owner went out of their way to be helpful and accomodating. We were pleasantly surprised at how well-stocked the kitchen was, and impressed with the collection of games and pet items. Great stay!"

"This place worked great for our family of 11 and we felt at home! It was well stocked and very comfortable with the added bonus of the ping pong table/table hockey and.plenty of other games/books.We really enjoyed the rural setting. We were able to visit Washington DC and also tour the Gettysburg National Military Park. Great memories for our family.Thank you Bob and Debbie. "

"Our overall stay was very nice, the property was beautiful. The house was very roomy which was great and it was an easy ride on 116 east to Gettysburg. We found a nice little Italian restaurant in Fairfield called Venturas for easy take home meals. Would stay here again."

"We truly enjoyed our visit to Gettysburg and this large house was not too far away!! We had family from ages 1.5-74 gather together. Great having two kitchens, family rooms!! We were able to be together but have our own bedroom space!! Thank you to the Freckled Farmhouse for a lovely visit!"
