About this property

A "Suite" Place to Crash

  • Just 6 miles from the Gettysburg Square. We welcome SCOUTS, FAMILIES/REUNIONS, YOUTH GRPS, or SMALL FAMILIES. The suite--2 bedrms--1 queen bed in smaller bedroom. 4 single beds and a full-sized crib in the larger bedroom. If group is larger, you can use the 4 comfortable queen-sized pull-out sofa beds—hotel quality, in the great room. 2 bathrms/showers. A 340 sq ft kitchen is attached to the suite, seating 12+. Your group may tent and use the bldg and ammenities. Strict $8/person/night over 5 people. Strict NO DRUNKEN PARTIES!!
    You have access to the whole building plus the large yards and play equipment. Please stay out of the shed, barn, and cow field. You may walk the trails, woods, etc.
    We would like you to communicate your questions or needs. We like to make our guests time at our place as easy as possible.
    Please read through this whole thing, especially the captions on the pictures, so you understand what you’re getting. It's a unique space, and one that people have found to be really great, but it’s not your normal house.

This was a very nice place to stay for our family! There were lots of spaces to spread out and play together and unwind from traveling. It was great that there were so many bed options and two bathrooms! The property is peaceful and everything is welcoming! We really enjoyed this place as a stop over to visit Gettysburg!

Our hosts were very responsive, kind, and went out of their way to be helpful. The amenities were perfect for our scout group. There were plenty of places to sleep and lots of fun games. It is well stocked for large group gatherings.

What a great place to stay

We had an amazing stay. Tons of stuff for families to do property owners were amazing and attentive to everything. Kids had a great time seeing all the animals great place to stay with families and kids of all ages will definitely stay again.

Lovely stay

We loved this property! It was nice traveling with a family and having space for them to play. We absolutely loved Gwen! Thank you for having a space that makes traveling with larger families affordable!

Great for a short overnight stay

Perfect location for an overnight stay with many kids. There were plenty of family-friendly activities for people of all ages. From toys for small kids to ping pong and foosball for the older ones. Plenty of space with fold out couches and easy access to destinations around Gettysburg.

Super cozy place to stay

The dog was cool and the pullout couches were very comfortable to sleep on. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and pots and pans. Well worth the stay!

A great find! Lots of space for our family of 7. We enjoyed the ping pong table, foosball, firepit, and many of the games available. We also made good use of the large kitchen. The grounds are beautiful and the kids enjoyed a lot of time outside. Debbie and her family were very sweet and accomodating. Very responsive to messages. We hope to be back for a future stay!

Incredible place for families

This is a perfect property for families or small groups with kids. There's so much space to run around both inside and outside. It's just a short drive to all the popular attractions, not more than 15 minutes away. Bob and Debbie were wonderful hosts and very friendly.

Room and plenty to do for the kids.

Family gathering in Gettysburg for Thanksgiving. The kids loved the farm animals and all the space to run and play both indoors and outdoors. Would definitely book again and can easily accommodate larger groups.

Cute simple little place to stay!

Not fancy but definitely not uncomfortable either! Personally I don’t spend much time in my lodging when on a trip and don’t like to spend a ton on unused amenities. This is the perfect location for a family or some friends. Nice and close to downtown Gettysburg and the farm is beautiful.

Great for young families

This place was such a nice vacation for our little family! My 1 year old and 3 year old boys were entertained by the new toys and the play areas outside! The Fosters were easy to get in touch with and more than accommodating when my little boy wanted to help with the animals!

Suite Place

We loved the farm atmosphere and large activity room with ping pong and Foosball tables. We hope to return with more family and more time to enjoy playing horse shoes, volleyball and to hang out with the animals.

Birthday Celebration

We had a bunch of friends join us for a birthday celebration. It was the perfect spot, located away from the bustle of Gettysburg but close enough to enjoy. Everything about this property is great, the space is HUGE and stocked for anything you could possibly need. The land is beautiful and the dogs are super friendly. 100% RECCOMEND this place to stay.

Great family place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was exactly what all the other reviews said. It was on a farm and had a beautiful surrounding. It was very spacious and had everything one could need. The owners were very friendly. We will go back again.
