My wife and I had a great time and everything that we needed was really close to where we stayed. We will come back for another time.

Great Location with Minor Issues
The location was perfect on Town Cove, and the cottage was perfect. However, the toilet didn't flush for most of my stay, and it took days to fix it. Also, being on the water and the weather being 70s and zero humidity, I wanted to have doors and windows open, but there were no screen doors, and I had to search to find a few window screens. I reached out to the property manager, and while they responded quickly, I never got screens, and it took days to fix the toilet.
It really only sleeps 1, and it needs more seating in the living room the couch could fit a small child only. The bed was only a queen so if you had company, you would need to share.
Despite the issues, it was quiet, and the trip was great as I spent the most time at the beach. It
My dog and I had a very relaxing writing retreat at this cottage. The views of the cove are really beautiful and we saw geese, swans, and many other birds. The house was just perfect for one or two people.
The cottage was very clean, all utilities were convenient, especially liked the addition of the DMCI cable on the living room TV. The stair lights didn't work and needed charging.
Convenient to our activities but attention to detail could be better in the house itself. Bed legs in center needed to be fixed, bed itself was not super comfortable, toilet flushing mechanism was not working properly.
Yes pet friendly but 45 a night for our border collie which is high. The mattress needs updating, the shower was difficult to figure out. Actually thought there was no water and contacted the manager. They were quick to respond, but we figured it out in the meantime. No firewood even though there was an outside fireplace. Sensor light at top of stairs didn’t work. The couch was wicked uncomfortable. Overall it was a 4 . Thks!
Right on the Eastham/Orleans line this little cabin was a great location to jump up or down cape and bayside oceanside adventure options. Property is shared, as other reviews note- not a big deal. Views of the water were nice and the spring peepers and bird chirps almost completely drown out the road noise from 6 just through the yards. DelMar folks were very responsive to requests, would stay at one of their properties again gladly.
This cozy little cabin was perfect for me and my husband. It has a gorgeous view of the water and is in a very convenient location (easy to go up or down the Cape). Both food and shops are close by. The only negative is that the other homes on the property are closer than they appear in the photos. The curtains could not be pulled all the way across allowing people to easily see in, especially at night. Del Mar was very responsive and great to work with. You could tell they take the time to make sure the homes are thoroughly cleaned.
Air conditioning not sufficient capacity for the home. Upstairs bedroom unbearable on hot nights. Mattress was old and collapsed in the middle. Property management company, Del Mar, resisted and stalled to address issues. Air conditioning still a problem. Mattress was finally replaced but not until the last two nights of our week long stay.
We enjoyed our stay. It was a great location with gorgeous views. A few things to note is that only one bath towel is provided per capacity of the house so my spouse and I only have two towels for 6 days without a washing machine. And the curtains downstairs are pretty sheer with the houses being so close together. Other than those things we enjoyed our stay.
Perfect weekend getaway on the outer cape. The cottage was clean, comfortable and very well set up. This was meant to be a “foodie” weekend for us - to explore some of the off-season restaurants offerings on the cape and there are many that measured up. The “Knack” which is literally mere feet away from the cottage had unbelievably good fish tacos which took the edge off our hunger on the Friday afternoon of our arrival. The “C-Shore” restaurant on that first night totally exceeded our expectations with an absolutely incredible lobster risotto and orange glazed salmon. The next morning, we breakfast’d at the “Cottage St Bakery” - a tiny French bakery that was quite a surprise in every good way. The “Brickhouse” restaurant on our second night was also VERY good. We got their mixed seafood entree and the crab and spinach stuffed cod. Both were excellent and the crème brûlée and 1/2 portion brownie fudge sundae were the perfect finishers. It was a fun and filling weekend and this wonderful little Del-Mar cottage was the perfect stepping off spot for us. Well done Del-Mar - we will be back!
