"Got lucky with near-perfect weather all week so spent plenty of time out on the deck. Sofa is very soft & low so people with bad knees may have difficulty getting on & off. Driveway intersects with busy Route 6 so it can be challenging getting out of the driveway (can the high grasses be mowed near Route 6 or the property sign repositioned to facilitate visibility of oncoming traffic for drivers leaving the property?) The property’s proximity to some amazing beaches on the mid-cape make Eastham a great base. But it’s a challenging location for pedestrians and, for safety reasons, I would not recommend trying to get around on foot from that location. Drivers seem to be going well beyond the speed limit on that narrow stretch of Route 6. We only used the stove for one meal but even boiling pasta for 10 minutes made the adjacent wall REALLY heat up and that made us a little nervous. But overall we had a fabulous week and we’re already making plans to return next year. Thank you!!!"

"Clean property and friendly staff"

"Peaceful and well kept property- clean bright serviceable. Had every amenity. The kitchen was completely stocked. It was veery clean. The road was a little busy but the air conditioning was great. The back yard was huge and beautiful. Toilets were toddler sized ( I am plus sized so there was that). Convenient location. Mattress in first floor could be updated ( service dog got off it immediately). Upstairs was comfortable. Price was right!!"

"This was our first stay at the Captains Quarters Motel. Our room was towards the back of the property. We could hear others but it was relatively quiet. The room was clean and beds were quite comfortable. "
